When you say 'all the drives' you mean external's also?

No, I have PCI cards that give me more IDE slots. Right now I can have up to 12 drives is a single PC, I'm using 10 of the 12. I will also be adding 2 more drives to the mix here in about a week.

I've got sooo many photos to do touch-ups/artwork on, plus whenever I shoot a wedding I keep the photos that I don't show to clients just in case months down the road "I don't see a pic of uncle Billy " Not to mention the "stock" photos that I take for album backgrounds, art pieces, insert pretty sunset here kind of things.

I need lots and lots of drives because jpgs may be small, but RAW files aren't. I have almost 1TB of just that before website pics are doubled, random games, OS.

If you take pictures, you REALLLY need a NAS system of some sort.
Mine is two 500GB drives, mirrored. So if one of the drives dies....I still can access it.

What kind of external drive do you have?

My My Book only works on Macs for some reason and I'm thinking of getting rid of the music on my laptop that I screen capped earlier...this will suck for my iTunes.

yeah my c: drive is 40 gigs

i have about 17gigs of free space on it.

I've never had a problem ever with my My Book
