Would the 1st X Force issue be worth? I saw it out at the flea market in a box for 75 cents. So I bought it. Is it worth anything?

Figures.

I just saw it, and thought I could get a 5$ profit on it. Guess not.

I doubt it'll be worth much, but you can check the Overstreet Price Guide or Wizard or online price guides like http://www.comicspriceguide.com/ for an idea of how much it'd be worth at each level of preservation. Mint's gonna be the highest, but I doubt your copy's in mint condition if it came from a flea market box.

Hah, its only worth 5 dollars. It was still in the plastic sleeve, has a trading card with it.

Shouldve left it in that box.

Well, you can turn a $4.25 profit if you can find someone who's really into X-Force.

You paid too much, in my opinion. Really, how many of us have see X-Force #1 in the bargain bin boxes all around. (Now, I'm figuring that you're talking about 1991 series, not the current one.)

When I was at the Emerald City Comic Con last month, soooo many of the dealers had that issue in their 50 cent bins. I've also seen it in about every half-priced books in my state for half the original price.

Now, the five dollar price is really laughable. The best indicator of a comics price is not a comic price guide...you need to look at it's reall demand price. Go to mycomicshop.com, and you can get a NM copy of ANY of the 1st issue for their lowest price, $1.49. You would have been more lucky to find a copy of X-Force #116. That was the first time that X-Static took over the title, and even though the pricing guides don't list it as being worth much, will cost you quite a bit more on that site to aquire.

Beg to differ, I bought a ton of books from flea markets and alot are in mint to very fine condition :oldrazz: even got my hands on some old X-Men(100 to 125) cheap and they were in mint

Nice! Well, you never know, your kids could have something that earns them some money. How was anyone supposed to know Wolverine would be so popular?! Did you see his costume? It had whiskers! That's a joke!

What if Darwin becomes the most popular X-man? What if female Loki becomes Marvel's most popular villain? You never know. Keep your stuff bagged and boarded.

What I find funny about Wolverines early appearances is the whiskers on the mask and the fact that his costume from day one is bright yellow, not too many characters could have pulled that off and kept going with it but he managed, mind you the whiskers on the mask is hilarious

The thing about those early Ninety's comics is that they were mass produced.since there are so many of them they aren't rare so easy to find that they're was bound to go down.
