Well, I have to start this thread.

To me, transformers almost becaome "god-like" creature, or like a dream, that makes me believe there are good things like justice, like dream... in life.

Thus, life became worth living.

It's very important. Here is a list.

It makes me talk to my car in a friendly manner.

No more hitting the steering wheel because of heavy traffic.

No more yelling at my car for moving to slow.

I now buy premium gasoline instead of regular.

I wash my car once a week and say how sexy it looks.

I don't stare at other cars on the road. (I'm a devoted car lover)

Ok, yeah it's important to me.... list

1> my van is dodge caravan and i call van name "barricade"

2> i never do destory my van cuz i already put on back window "decepticons" picture

3>no body touch my barricade!

I'm a fan for sure, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't mean a ton to me.

Same here. Like to watch the cartoons, enjoy the comics, but it doesn't have any effect on how I see things.

For me its just a fun form of entertainment that I enjoy a lot amongst all the other hobbies I have. I have very fond memories of when I was a child and having fun with various incarnations of the franchise and probably will continue to do so. :trans:

it's a cool franchise to me. it hasn't had a huge impact on my life but it's always gotten my imagination going...

transformers was just one of those cartoons that taught me right from wrong as a kid. i learned something in church, and see the same thing in my favorite cartoon show, and i just thought...it must be true!

but now, it's basically just entertainment. thats the good thing with transformers. they can be interpreted deeply or lightly; either way, it's still gonna be cool.

It was something I grew up with, but it wasn't the end all be all. People were talking about how Transformers molded them as kids and was surrogate parents to them and this movie would make or break their life, and I was just like...

I like the movie and the cartoon i have been watching the cartoon is a was a kid and loved it. Im really glad they started to make the real life movies.:trans:

I don't know what to say here. To me it's something that (along with the ORIGINAL Star Wars trilogy and Indiana Jones) brings back that sense of freedom and innocence that came with being a child in the early 80's...even though oftentimes that innocence and freedom was taken away against my will

I don't know, maybe I was hit by TF, or have been too much into it for the past like 2 years. :(

I grew up watching Transformers as a kid, G1,I have my favorite characters (Thundercracker & Hound) , I saw Transformers the movie in the theater when it was released, I collected all the action figures, but that was when I was a kid.
I still enjoy Transformers, loved the movie, but for me I'm a much bigger Iron Man fan than I was ever a Transformer fan.

Like most people here, I grew up on the cartoon. Transformers, GI Joe, Knight Rider, etc. are all important parts of my childhood. I have an attachment to these shows and the characters b/c they remind me of a simpler time in life.

I really like G1 stuff. I got into transformers, first and foremost, because of the art. I like drawing cartoon accurate transformers when I was a kid. And then I went into engineering school and I was fascinated with robots that I was able to build a simple one on my own. Until now I'm still into transformers. I was into superman too, but the movie disappointed me. I'm glad there is transfomers to save my day. Long live Transformers!!! I hope one day we see metroplex(city) in the movies!!!

I found as a kid that my videos of G1 episodes trumped most of the cartoons I watched by far. Superman: The Animated Series changed that, but when Beast Wars rolled around I was hyped all over again as a Transformers fan. I was never really into Armada because I thought the whole powering-up bit with Minicons was a lackluster addition so I can't quite say anthing positive about it. But after seeing this movie I've been reminded all over again why I'm a fan. I just wish the sequel would roll out already- the suspense is annoying.

I liked to watch the cartoons, and I loved the movie, so I am a fan.

Transformers made your life worth living? that's just sad.

Do you really expect someone to click #3? Lol. :oldrazz:

It's better to be enamored with concepts of justice and the preservation of life than subjects of death, hopelessness and wallowing pity. In other words...

Being a TF fan >>> being an emo
