I don't have any problem with perceiving myself as better than anyone else, I really don't. Why sugarcoat **** just to make others comfortable? If you feel being religious makes you a better person, so be it. An example - I try to be cool with people when they discover I don't drink, but there's always an ass that has to get in my face about it, so yeah, I will say I'm better than you if you feel the need to push me. Basically, the whole, "you're saying you're better than the rest of us" argument only works if the person actually cares about others' opinions.

It's not taking me any more time or effort than it does for me to make any other post about any other subject on here. Actually, as far as posting effort goes, this is very much on the light side. And no, it's not just silly because I said so, it's silly because you think god being able to be spelled backwards as dog has any bearing on reverence, for a supposed being that you yourself find to be so far above humanity that it would demand reverence in the first place. The logic of such a viewpoint is what makes it silly. Very silly.

I'm an atheist and don't care for organised religion however I especially hate ignorance. You're being extremely close-minded. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with raybia spelling God as "G-d", if you know your ass from your elbow you would know this is the common practice among those of the Jewish faith. How he spells God has no bearing on you.
