you worship SAURON, you PRACTICE sauronismxwolverine2 said:i worship sauronism

You're allowed to say God, because if I taped your voice and rewound it, it actually sounds more like "Doug"Calvin said:So are you not even allowed to say "god" since it could be said backwards as "dog"?
Oh god, shutup newb3 Dev Adam said:God created the dog, so a dog must be loved.
Calvin, seriously, how religious YOU are?Calvin said:Jesus H. Christ, this is really goddamned stupid.

I are so religious.Honey Vibe said:Calvin, seriously, how religious YOU are?![]()
Calvin said:So are you not even allowed to say "god" since it could be said backwards as "dog"?
raybia said:I can but that is my preferrence.
Imam W. Deen Mohammed, leader of the largest indigenous group of Muslim, has explained that in order to show due reverence to the Name of G-d Almighty, that we not use any spelling that could in the reverse mean "dog."
This also follows the sentiments of many Jews as well.
Honey Vibe said:But you're not only doing this to show reverence to the Lord Almighty. Some reverence has been allotted to Imam Mohammed, because he made a well-meaning suggestion that any person who respects him will politely follow.
Not reverence, but respect is shown by considering his reasoning for making the change. I could also respectfully decline. I choose to do it not because he says to but because I agree with his reasoning.
If it were anyone else that used that unfathomably stupid reason why it is that we are doing this?, you would have laughed him off the stage.
No. Because of your lack of respect and tolerence for ideas and ways that are foreign to you, that is what you do, but not everyone is like that, and you presume too much of my character. Its only stupid reasoning for you because of your ignorance on the matter.
Yet still again, reverence is re-directed: some is allotted to the Jews.
What are you doing?
What are you saying?
Who are God's beloved, that keep his revelation, law, and understanding completely in their hearts -- the Jews or the Muslims? If the Muslims, then why practice Jewish custom unless we are incomplete? If the Jews, why not convert and become one?
That wasn't my question. I'm saying, if that's your rule, you shouldn't even be able to verbally say "god" since it could verbally be reversed into "dog." Either way, I'm sure that, if there was a god, he'd be laughing at how idiotic this notion is. It's not like his actual first name is "God." He's called "God" as a shorthand for the idea that he's a/the god.raybia said:You don't understand. I have the choice to write God or G-d.
Out of respect for my Creator I personally choose to spell it without the "o".
There is nothing wrong with dogs, they are good animals but since the word is easily recognized when writing about Almighty G-d himself I write it that way out of respect and reverence. This is not a religous requirement.

Not my rule but my preference. Its recognizable visual than so verbally and thats the point.
Either way, I'm sure that, if there was a god, he'd be laughing at how idiotic this notion is.
I'm sure that he wouldn't. I'm also sure that he would be more appreciative towards an act done out of reverence for him than he would be towards those who mock an act that is between a person and their G-d.`

3 Dev Adam said:Then why, instead of G_d, don't you call him by his real name, Yahweh?
Because I'm Muslim.
It's more respectful and doesn't ends up looking like a word from a Hangman game.
3 Dev Adam said:If you're muslim, better, yet. Call him Allah.
I do call him Allah but I refer to him as G-d too so that people will learn that I'm referring to the same G-d of both the Christians and Jews.
Sounds the same, even backwards.
Or you can't, cause it can be confused with deceased singer Aaliyah?
