If there's a thread already on this, go ahead and delete this.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are, and what rumors there may be, if any, about the demise of the Joker?

If he lived through to the 3rd, maybe we could see Harly Quinn!?

UPDATE: This should be OPEN TO SPOILERS -- READ NOW BY THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE

/thread (?)

anyways. I certainly hope he doesn't die.

He shouldn't die, but in the 3rd one, he shouldn't be the main villain-star, either. I guess if Batman locks him up in Arkham at the end of TDK, then
Two-Face can set him free in the 3rd, kinda like 'TLH', you know
That will be best, I think.

yeah, Lock him up in a new, better, more isolated Arkham. Small roll in the Third, like Scarecrow is having in this one.

I think he should have quite a big role in the third as well as two face.

Arrested and committed to Arkham - just like in the comics.

Arkhams like a revolving door of bad-guys; one goes in - one comes out.

I voted for small role in 3rd as I'd like to see another villain get their 15mins of fame.

Brought to arkham in this one. But bring him back in all his glory. Maybe die in the next one

I agree with SUPERBENITEZ, send him off to Arkham, than in the last flick all the villains get released.

Sam will put the Allspark into The Joker´s chest

After taking over Gotham and Killing BM The Joker should get hit by a bus..

Joker should go "Vroom, vroom, vroom!"

Yes! But that has been said before RC. Don't know where, though.

He should fall down the stairs, and the whole time hes falling, three stooges music is playing in the background, or old looney tunes music.

The Joker should always go with a smile :)

Ending should be left a mystery regarding his death and he should have a major role in the third film as well.

Rides off with Rachel's brother (played by Maggie's brother) in the sunset to Brokeback Mountain.

This seems about right. :woot:

Jake could play coming-out-of-the-closet-man, and it should end with him saying, Seacrest and Tobey, your next.

Actually it should end with Batman chasing the Joker & his goons around Benny Hill style, music & all, with this guy being thrown into the mix:
