i have never been to an IMAX cinema before but i think when the dark knight sequel comes out i will be seeing that at an IMAX cinema, it has been my plan for a long time now

how will all of you see it

also how many times do you think you will go to see it at the cinema, i think for me it may be twice, if its anything like the dark knight i will defiantly want to see it twice i think

Hey guys. Chris here. Glad you like my work!

I saw TDK twice in IMAX and another four times in the theaters. Even if the sequel wasn't quite as good as BB and TDK, I would certainly see it in IMAX and probably once or twice in a regular theater.

IMAX baby! The greatest theater experience I've ever had, except for a couple times in high school.

Okay goddammit. This is like the third time this has happened. SHH needs some maintenance.

Umm...okay.

I'll probably see it 8 times to outdo my TDK score by one. Twice in IMAX and six times in regular theaters. Since the closest IMAX theater to me that plays regular movies is four hours away.

:csad: I was hoping the whole film would've been shot in IMAX...

Regular cinema for me.

:wow: Are you trying for the guinness world record?

Imax all the way. It's just not the same on a regular screen.

I will not watch it in a box.
I will not watch it with a fox.
I will not watch it in a house.
I will not watch it with a mouse.
I will not watch it here or there.
I will not watch it anywhere.

(Unless Crispin Glover is cast as Egghead or Clock King.)
(And he better be the main villain, too.)

I won't go out of my way to go to an IMAX cinema to see it, BUT, when it goes to DVD, I'll definitely be getting it for Blu Ray.

IMAX is the only way...TDK in IMAX was the greatest cinematic experience I've ever been a part of. I'll never forget driving to PA on a chilly December day just to see The Dark Knight prologue that preceded I Am Legend. Those 6 minutes were far more mind-blowing than just about anything I had experienced in IMAX.

Of course, the full movie and with the additional IMAX scenes left me a complete boggled mess that next July!

Imax the first time, for sure. If I go a second time like I did with The Dark Knight I may up going to a regular theater because I'm poor.

DVD, unless I get dragged to it by friends.

IMAX, if the one in my town is up and running by the time of release.

Imax, and I can imagine by the time its out tickets by me will be $26.

Does the UK get this in IMAX? If so, I'm on the brink of buying a planeticket and hotelroom just to get a chance to see this "as it was meant to be seen". Because my stupid ass country only shows nature and boring wildlife dox on the 2 IMAX screens we have :(

Yes, it does, I saw both BB and TDK at the IMAX, and hopefully, money and time permitting, I will see TDKR^ on the IMX also.
The only thing I find very annoying is that because the aisles are so long, it is a major hassle to get to go if you are needing a pee, which inevitably happens to me during a 2hr plus hour, you need to bash through about 50odd knees , so that is 100knees roughly that you have to navigate past without obscuring people's views if you count there and back again. I'll maybe take an empty limeade bottle next time.
