How would you adapt The Long Halloween into a two hour movie?

I keep reading about people wanting to see TLH in animated or live action form. It's a great story but a pretty long one. I think a mini-series or a season long live action plot would be the best way to go but if not, what would you take out and what would you keep for a 90 minute or two hour movie?

TV would be the best solution, but if a movie was required the best to do is keep it simple. Meaning...remove all the guest-star villains. :o

Into 2 hours?

Not possible.....I think. It'd have to be wither 2 films or a mini series. That's one long ****ing book, I tell ya.

Best bet would have been in TAS. That would have been pretty awesome.

Into a 2-hr. movie? I think you'd have to remove a lot of the subplots, completely change the pacing, and all in all, remake it for the worse. There might be a good way, but I can't think of one.

THE LONG HALLOWEEN could not be successfully distilled into a two hour movie. Maybe a three hour movie...

I'd love a live action Batman show once Nolan is finished up. But the show would have to be more like comics.

This is one more story that would not transfer well into live action media. I think a TV "cartoon" would work the best and could provide the story without reducing the number of characters or subplots. It is a great story and deserves the right treatment.

A lot of sub-plot would have to be removed, but it's not a big deal.
