Hugh Jackman is The Apostle Paul

I love Hugh Jackman, but I'm weary of Affleck and Damon producing. I hope they do not water the story down. This could be a really great film if done right, but it has to have a crew that is passionate about the story and presenting it close to the source material. Really don't want another Noah or, to a lesser extent, Exodus.

Paul has a great, dramatic story. Could make a fantastic movie if they don't mess it up.

Im looking forward to this.

Im not looking forward to the inevitable griping about how its not exactly like the Bible.

The historical Paul is an interesting story. Jackman is NOT at all whom I would guess anyone would cast. Should be worth a look though.

@Marv, as you can see the griping has already begun.

Hopefully Timur Bekmambetov will direct this as a sequel to his new Ben Hur film. The blinding light Paul sees on the road to damascus will be Jesus's spirit drop kicking Paul so hard that he goes temporarily blind and converts to the new religion of christianity.

I know Jackman is versatile but this sounds like a joke lol.

Get ready for the most jacked up version of Paul the Apostle

You know he is a versatile actor but think he is incapable of playing a 1st century Roman from Cilcilia. Why?
