Ya know, I have been completely indifferent to the whole jett topic. But making a complete bogus hint that Williams might be cast as strange makes me want to digitally punch him in the face with a baby.

That's curious. I remember him tweeting that (I'm paraphrasing here) he "was speculating...kinda." Where did that "kinda" come from if he was just thinking out loud? He made it sound like he had some actual evidence.

It's those words in quotations marks that get me. He can say he was thinking out loud, but I think he was told something about Strange and/or Williams being in the film. That doesn't mean either one will happen, of course.

That's one of the reasons why I've never really liked BoF. Instead of just saying, "hey, I heard this 'rumor' from a reliable source", Jett plays it off like a kid trying to keep a secret. "I was speculating out loud". That's the dumbest excuse I've ever heard. The guy runs a Batman movie site for how many years, and he thinks he can tweet something like "RW as Strange, hmm" without being specific? Seriously?

Jett knows something. Shortly after his "speculating out loud" excuse he was being sarcastic about "not knowing anything". More or less rubbing it in. He's being coy and playing dumb. If the rumor doesn't come true he can stick with the "speculating out loud" excuse. If the rumor comes true, you know as well as I do that we'll hear how we "heard it first from BoF".

I used to be a much bigger fan of Jett in the late nineties. He does have connections, but not enough to warrant acting like a pretentious jerk, especially when he isn't getting exclusives, and what little news he posts has already been posted on other sites.

For example, when Hardy was finally announced as Bane, Jett immediately posted on BOF - "Well I knew he was Bane all along, for months. Seriously, I was laughing my ass off at all the Riddler/Hugo Strange theorists, because I knew the truth. But I couldn't tell you guys. See, I would never stoop so low as to post a spoiler on BOF. I don't want to betray WB's or Nolan's trust. I don't want to be one of those "exclusive" sites. PS, don't forget to like BOF on Facebook!"

Now in regards to Hugo. Do we really need him? I was under the impression that Bane would end up being TDKR's mastermind.
