HULK & the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.

with the track record that the Marvel animated department has had in the last year and a half with USM and Avengers Assemble in regards to a quality product, I expect no better with this one...

It seems as if Marvel only knows how to do one type of cartoon these days.
Blah.

I just watched it on YouTube. I believe the plot was adapted from a small child mashing his action figures together. A kid who's never read a single comic book. She-Hulk...is a stunt driver???

These shows MARVEL is putting out need some kind of redeeming quality but, I mean, REALLY? These things don't even look that good or have interesting action sequences. Both this and AA look like they don't even care when it comes to animation. It's obvious to me that USM is getting the lion's share of effort when it comes to visuals. HULK and AA is looking either rushed or just lazy. Take your pick.

Animation looks fine to me. Comparable to other shows like this and other animated kids shows on TV. I also like the designs and art style they went with.

The art style is okay, but I wish the show would let me look at it instead of constantly letterboxing (is that the right word?) the screen and throwing pop ups on the screen.

Not as bad as you guys are making it. Way better than Ultimate Spiderman.

So it's better than an F minus?
Sure, it's better than Ultimate, but is that saying much?
Not really.

The Spidey ep was the highest quality outing yet. All around, writing, animation, voice work... All, ok. But that's it. It still feels like a very liberal interpretation of MARVEL at best. Hulk giving kids self actualization advice, STRAIGHT INTO THE CAMERA? No. Just no.
