Hulk Vs Hercules

The Marvel Legends Herc comes with a mini bio, which claims his strength ''rivals the hulk''. Is that true? Have these two actually ever fought? I know Thor can rival Hulk (on his best day) in battle, and Herc is an olympus god too so yeah....anyone help me out?

Well in Tales to Astonish 79 back in the 60s they fought and it was a Draw. IMO Herakles would have to go ALL OUT right away cause he doesn't have the powers Thor, Beta Ray Bill, SS, and Sentry have at their disposal ie range powers to use on Hulk. I've alway said and believe if written to go all out all those characters would beat Hulk because they more powers, in that they would not to rely on just brawn!

On the one hand a site like that with a character's fights is cool.

On the other, that guy is an unashamed hulk fanboy, and can't admit when hulk loses (in the Hulk Mcfarlane issue against wolverine, wolverine pretty much wins by cutting a whole in his chest, and then as death, nearly kills him but hesitates, whereas the fanboy says ''hulk waits for wolverine to stop cutting lol....and then, he dismisses him loosing to superman because he doesn't like how it was written, or more acurately, the result) he makes excuses and re-writes the book lol

Marvel Herc is not supposed to be the same as the Herc from mythology for some reason.
I know he fought the real or myth Herc in the comics before but i've never read them so I don't know how it works.
But anyway my guess is that sence he's not the Herc of myth then he's not quite as strong .
I think that Hulk is ment to be stronger then Herc in any form and I do have a comic where Hulk kicks Herc about a mile .
It was a short fight in wich Hulk beats the Avengers and Jugg all at once.

As far as I know the Hercules in the MU is in fact what the myth's were based on...[inside the MU not the real world] so it would be the the real Herc who fought the Hulk.

In one of the old Herc books the Herc of myth came down to fight the Marvel Herc but like I said I don't have it so I can't claim to know the details .

Seems to me that out of all the fights Hulk and Herc have had, Herc always seems to be getting the worst of it.

I dont recall Herc ever even geting the upper hand in ANY of their battles...

Whenever they have the Hulk fight either Thor or Hercules they ignore the fact that they both have a fair amount of superhuman speed and agility. They should be able to avoid every punch the Hulk throws and hit him with punches that he can't even see coming. There are images posted somewhere that show Hercules toying with the Hulk and enjoying himself using wrestling tricks. There is such a huge difference in reaction time that it should be virtually impossible for either Thor or Hercules to lose without taking a dive.

Althou I agree with a lot of what you say....The Hulk himself has superhuman speed and agility....problbly more then ether Thor or Herc...it's the fact that The Hulk lacks the smarts to put it to good use that may but the two gods ahead in a fight.Further more if they were to
avoid every punch the Hulk throws at them it would make it worse for them cause it would make the Hulk madder and the madder he gets the stronger he gets.

I haven't seen the new Handbooks but the Master Edition of the 90's said specifically that his reflexes and agility were in the athlete category which is normal human range. What do the new ones say?

Herc at his recent power level would get smacked down pretty hard. Before, he was always shown to be able to hang with Hulk for a while, but eventually the fight would either be broken up or Hulk would win.

I really hope that Herc gets his powers back to their older levels someday, or maybe even stronger. Unlike Thor, Herc can't use magic, so make him even more a a physical threat to balance them out.

Absolutely not. Hulk would beat his ass! Period! In Hulk Vs. Hercules (it was from a while ago) Zeus told Hercules that he would lose. Being prideful and hardheaded Herc tried him anyways. And lost badly. Hulk's speed levels have actually increased since the 90's (or so it seems) there's no way he could have finally hit Speedfreak had this not happened. I'm not saying he's as fast as Thor could be but he is faster than people give him credit for. I'm actully not sure if Hulk and Herc are teaming up in WWH after all either. I have seen reports that say both. I guess we will have to see.

In Hulk vs Hercules, it was a seriously depowered Hercules

Either way its no cake walk. Fully powered Herc can go toe to toe with the Hulk all day.

If I had to pick em, totally unbiased, with both a full power, Hulk wins after a bloody battle.

But I'd want Herc to win and I think he certainly has the capacity to
