who flies faster ? movie superman or movie human torch ? looks like supes flew a little faster cause he flew in alot more scenes than HT.

when johnny jumped off the building right when he said flame on there he haulled ass. after awhile he kinda slowed down. but right at the begining when he 1st did it he looked like he flew a little faster than supes.

Actually I think the new movie Underdog is faster than both of them combined.

Imagine Supes & Torch flying together (holding hands or possibly engaged in a very close but totally heterosexual man-hug) so that they can combine their speed.

The new Underdog from the movie would just blow them both away.
How could he not?

Only Mighty Mouse is faster than Underdog, but that's largely due to scale.

if we are talking about reeves' supes, then it's definitely him

if we are talking about Routh's supes, he wins as well...he flew faster than the speed of sound and was noted on several occasions being able to fly above these speeds

Johnny didn't break any sound barrier so he hasn't been shown to be able to fly faster than supes....

Though neither of them had been Radar Gunned, my impression is that Superman flew faster in either movie incarnation.

By the way, do you think superheroes have any idea how fast they're flying? Besides, "Wow. I'm going really fast!"

If they hear a sonic boom then maybe they would have a clue how fast.
I don't think Supes can go light speed like the Surfer, but he can definitely break the speed of sound.
I don't think torch can go quite that fast.
