Humpty Dumpty, the latest 3-D film from Snakes on a Plane's David Ellis, could be one of the most outrageous contributions to our genre or it could be a complete bust. Whatever the case may be, the two pieces of promo art found at the film's official MySpace page elicit a smile.

Last month, Ellis, producers producers Mark Ordesky and Fabienne Villette and writer Billy Majestic announced development on the project was going to begin for Amber Entertainment, iDream Company, Instinctive Film and Intandem Films. The story tells of a female alien who is raped by a group of rednecks. The offspring of this violation subsequently sets out and wreaks havoc.

Ellis has another 3-D film hitting theaters this summer, Final Destination: Death Trip 3D. There's more art to be found here.

Ran out of ideas? What are you talking about?

Rednecks rape alien woman. Alien woman gives birth to horrid creature. Horrid creature goes on a bloody rampage.

Sounds pretty original to me. Plus it isn't a re-make, re-boot, based off of a tv show/comic book/video game/kids book etc etc.

Best idea since The Gingerbread Man?

whats next.... The Hill of Jack and Jill

and what genre is that? the misc films?

Pretty soon they'll be a film called Little Boe Peep. About a cross-dressing serial killer who has sex with sheep.

This is the kind of movie Frank Henenlotter used to do (basket case, frankenhooker, brain damage). I'm looking forward to it.

well what can i say.....taking the story of an egg that fell of a freakin brick wall and turning it into a story of an alien/redneck crossover (which turns out to be an effin egg) that goes on a bloody rampage.........well my friends this is what i call creativity at its best...might be the best thing since Halloween´s Mike Myers. :oldrazz:
