Two questions:

1) I believe that there is a fine line between playing honorably yet competatively, and playing deceitfully. On which side of that line do you feel you have fallen on in this game? Why have you done so? Please share at least two examples.
It depends. I feel that I played honorably. I tried as hard as possible to be loyal to my allies. And I lied very rarely.

The only time I truly lied was to Darthphere. Phere warned me that Kipobe was lazy and would lose interest in this game very soon. That he could not be relied upon. I sensed the rivalry between the two and I felt that I could use that to my advantage. But I just couldn’t. For some reason, I couldn’t. Then the second day came and our tribe lost the challenge, Kipobe was exiled, and we had to vote someone out. Matt said the votes were due at 8:00 (the PM was sent at 7:50, making me think that I had 10 minutes to vote!). I PMed Phere telling him that Kipobe could not be voted out and that I was voting Asteroid-Man, which I did. But then Matt PMed me back telling me that I had 24 hours, not 10 minutes and that I should think more about the vote (consulting my teammates). Kipobe then PMed me telling me that Darthphere betrayed our tribe and provided some good explainations why. I then considered that Kipobe would be a much more reliable ally than Darthphere would be and I changed my vote from Asteroid-Man to Darthphere. I actually did feel bad a bit. But later on when I heard how much of a traitorous bastard Phere really was in previous Survivor games took that feeling away.

There was another time I was faced with a dilemma. I am going to keep the identities of these players a secret on account that this went over PMs and PMs should remain private. I was told that my one of my main allies was a traitor and only used us as pawns. When this ally who was suspected of being the traitor asked me what was going on, I hid the truth from him. I told him that I talked to no one, I didn’t want to rat out two other people. But another person said, I was talking to those people. So I had a dilemma of trying not to get two of my allies exposed, while trying to remain in the game, while trying to keep the image that I was not a backstabber, which I wasn’t, while pretending that I did not know that he was a traitor. I refused to play this game backstabbing. One of my allies simply then told me to confess that I knew he was a traitor and pretend that I was mad. So I did, Then, the ally who was the supposed traitor asked me who the person was. He already knew, he just wanted to see if I was loyal enough to tell him. I told him that I did not want to backstab anyone at all and I would tell him eventually, which I did, once the person who told me the info was gone and the reveal would have no impact at all on his game. I think this was the least honorable thing I did.

Overall, I think I did play this game honorably. I feel that I played this game as honestly as I could (excluding Darthphere). I was even somewhat nice to Asteroid-Man by telling him not to trust anyone when he said who he knew who to trust (we were all going to vote for him eventually, which we did) and answering his survey thingy. I played this game without backstabbing at all.

2) Do you think Matt screwed JewishHobbit?
I actually see both sides in this issue. On one hand, you did break this rule more than once, despite the fact that you had no PM saying that you were exiled. However, the rules did state that the penalty votes were meant to go towards tie-breaking votes and this rule was bent to where they were used against you during the tribal council that you got kicked out of.

Venom Drool said:
Tell me who you have been honorable or dishonorable to during your quest to reach the final two?
Kipobe – Honorable

Kmack – No relation

Calvin – No relation. Voted for him in Tribal Council on Day 5 because he was dead weight.

Venom Drool – No relation. I ended up voting for you one day because my allies said it was best to do so. No hard feelings :csad:

JewishHobbit – Honorable

Asteroid-Man – I think we were all a little mean to him. But I was somewhat nice to him. I originally voted for him at Day 3, but changed my vote to Darthphere. Then I voted for him again on Day 9 which ended in him getting kicked out.

Brodie – Honorable, we did not have a full alliance, but I considered us psuedo-allies due to our connections with Kipobe. I shared some info with him.

Darthphere – He’s an iffy, see above for why

Erzengel – He tried to get rid of me, I tried to get rid of him. Simple as that. Apparently we saw each other as the biggest threat to each other.

Immortalfire – No relation

Abbadon – He offered me an alliance, but he got booted off before anything at all could formulate

Elisha Cuthbert – No relation, except for making me a complete badass in his Hype: The Series !

Socrates – No relation.

StorminNorman – He too is an iffy. I was told he’d be a good person to ally with, so when Norman offered me an alliance, I accepted. The pair-up at first ended up with rather poor results, which made me think that I was being played, which annoyed me, greatly. But there was a time that he helped me out quite a bit (TEDDY’s challenge), which made me think that he was helpful, which settled my nerves. But then something happened (I think I was told something), that made me question StorminNorman yet again. So I ended up voting for him. Then TEDDY's nigh-invulnerable ******ed reward prize saved him (then I proceded to defeat him in the "Fixing Up TEDDY's mistakes" challenge, which put me in the spot where I am today :word: )

farmerfran - Honorable, not only that, I promised him a spot in the final three if he would vote for Erzengel. He voted for Kipobe which ended up costing him because Kipobe and Erz voted for him. If only he voted for Erz, he would have been in the final three that I promised him.

Immortalfire said:
Congratulations to both of you on making the final two.
Two Questions:

1) I wondered if you had a specific way you would do things from the beginning, or did you "wing it" along the way?
I basically went along with my allies for most of the game. They said, vote this way, I voted this way. They came up with a plan, I went along with the plan. I'm not a leader and I'm not going to try and be what I'm not. Though when it got to the final four, I had to wing it on fear that I was the next one to go.

2) And, are either of you plotting revenge on TEDDY?
I'll kill him :cmad:

Seriously, most of the stuff I said to TEDDY was just in fun. Just like Brodie constantly complaining to Matt. Except for TEDDY's challenge, that did piss me off.

StorminNorman said:
Whats more important: To be an ethical player and honor your alliances or to win at any cost ?
I feel that being an ethical player that honors his or her alliances is better than winning at any cost. I don't like to backstab. Ask Kipobe where I told him in full detail that I did not like that idea.

Hippie:Give me a 800 word essay breaking down the themes of Three Times a Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure, my ongoing story found in the fan fic section. Also, did you vote for me?
First of all I did not vote for you. At all. Second, why do I have to write the 800 word essay :csad:

The first chapter of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure was just to simply show how badass Brodie apparently is. This is evident by Brodie calling the main character Darren Daring (his current screen name), the Dashing Young Man, by having the Cigar Man turn gay stating: “I wasn't attracted to men until I met him. He may be our only hope,” and having the main character jump out of a window. It seems that Brodie will do something important when Cigar Man stated, He may be our only hope. But what? That is the question.
The second chapter of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure was to further show how badass Brodie apparently is by having him carry a gun, kill one of Maxwell’s demon’s customers, and interrogating Halcohol. This chapter further diverged into Darren’s character by showing his intelligence. He doesn’t know where the President of the United States (Erzengel) lives (Washington D.C.), and confuses Washington D.C. for the State of Washington. This chapter is rather odd considering that it has made Maxwell’s Demon, a man, into a female hooker and DBella as a man-****e. Perhaps it is promoting transvestitism. DBella’s inclusion was probally mandatory, since she has to be in EVERY, Hype fan-fiction.
The third chapter of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure showed what Darren’s career was, a hitman. He’s being paid $120.00 to kill President Erzengel. It also seems that Darren is a rather important person because he is able to see the President without an appointment and get through the White House without security noticing his weapons. However, his intelligence is further lacking when he ignores the fact that the President has a Secret Service. This chapter had me wondering about what kind of man Erzengel is when he has two hooks for hands and apparently is working for someone. With the Cajun Halcohol, German jaguar, the French farmerfran, the buff Kmack, and the transvestite Maxwell’s Demon, it is apparent that Brodie is trying to write his characters as offensively as possible.
The Interlude, appeared to have no importance at all. Brodie continues to write his characters as offensively as possible, with Darthphere’s condom breaking and the sexual deviant PWN3R RANGER. However, I think the DOG LIPS Commemorative Trophy for Awesomenisity and the female black-cloaked character with the El Camino will have some importance in the future. It also appears that this fan fiction is going to be a death fest. Already we’ve had a no-named customer die (portrayed by Ben Urich), and DBella die. Now Darthphere and PWN3R RANGER are dead. I think the body count will continue to rise as the story goes on.
The fourth chapter of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure continues with Brodie’s style of offensive writing, by portraying the police officer, Childlike Wild, as a rapist. In this chapter, Darren gets a sidekick by the name of enterthemadness. Like the real, ETM, this version of ETM is also incompetent. Having Kipobe as a police officer might show, that Brodie thinks of Kipobe as a Nazi-pig who takes orders from anyone
The fifth chapter of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure continues with Brodie’s exaggeration of how awesome Darren is and the unbeleivablity. Just how does Darren, posses a .44 Magnum in a prison. How would the guards let this be? And picking a fight with JustABill was to continue Darren’s badassadry. The drug enduced dream was probably to show Brodie’s real life addiction to drugs and alcohol. The appearance of Tukiluka is probably to show a bit of Darren’s origins and I have yet to determine why Sofa has appeared asides from helping Darren out. But why is ETM the new top dawg. Just how does a prisoner who is not even 5 feet, end up like that. Naming the prison Retcon Prison, is to show that Brodi is indeed a Hyper. A member of Superhero Hype, a website dedicated to superhero and comic book movies and TV shows. Retcons are changes in a characters history in comic book lingo.
The title alone of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure show’s Brodie’s piss-poor competency in Spanish on account that he can’t even reach to six. ETM’s gang called the Griddles and the constant mention of pancakes and waffles, probably show Brodie’s love of breakfast. It appears that my theories that Sofa is a useless character are true. More of Darren’s origin is shown with the scene of his birth, to further show his awesomeness of being to talk right out of the womb and being born at Awesome o’clock.
The next part of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure is another pointless interlude. It starts off with Kypade having an affair with President Erzengel’s wife X-Chick. This is to show irony when Erz asks Kypade to look into it. The affair is in this story possibly because Brodie’s wife cheated on him with Erz. I have noticed that everyone drives an El Camero, perhaps this is Brodie’s favorite type of car.
The seventh chapter of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure is odd. Why does Erz want to destroy all awesomeness? Why does the author keep pointing out that Darren is so damn awesome? Just how is it possible for Sofa to be the traitor? She’s supposed to be a useless character. The death fest continues with the death of jaguar. I suspect that Erz is the villain because deep down, Brodie hates Erz.
The eighth chapter of Three Times A Lady: A Darren Daring Adventure starts off commenting on Sofa’s fine, fine breasts. Perhaps, the author has a crush on the real life Sofa. For once Sofa shows some competency by revealing the true plans of bringing an awesome utopia onto this world. Yet, Darren was not invited to join the Commune. Perhaps it is to show how Brodie was perhaps rejected in real life?
Over all the story is alright. I think I should have a part in it and it would be a lot cooler. It has a lot of awesomesauce in it though, and that’s a no brainer plus!

Brodie had the best question, no doubt. Hilarious.

How I regretted the first challenge :(

and everything Teddy! related :(

Farmerfran
In one sentence, tell us why you deserve to win.

I've had a target on my back since day one, and I'm still here with only a handful of votes against me that I either gave myself or asked for... and I played the complete game... everything!

Erzengel
I have no questions or comments.

I agree!

JewishHobbit
Two questions:
1) I believe that there is a fine line between playing honorably yet competatively, and playing deceitfully. On which side of that line do you feel you have fallen on in this game?

Interesting question. It's funny, I get this reputation as screwing over people, but name me ONE person who I apparently "screwed over" who didn't screw me over first before they were booted? ONE person! The only vote-out I made in this game that was direct was probably 'fire, and I'd like to note that I contacted 'fire early to see if he'd be willing to team up at any stage, and he ignored my PMs. Brodie was not a casualty of me like some believe, but it was strictly bad hosting on Teddy's part... if half the players have immunity, and your inner circle are three of the four who don't have immunity, one of you are gonna be screwed. I couldn't orchestrate that, and as Matt knows via PMs, I fought that call quite vigorously. Regardless, I can't change what people's opinions are... but I will say that there's two sides to every story, and any player like myself knows that you get the bad rep because you have to play upfront and put yourself on the line everytime. I've managed to have success despite this, and that's why I deserve to stand where I do.

Why have you done so? Please share at least two examples.

I can only say I was competitive as part of a group effort. Honestly, I think you need a measure of both to have success, or else you're not playing the full game... someone else is playing it for you. Everyone knows the game is a balance of deceit and competitiveness... or else you're riding someone elses coattails. You start out the game as a minority. One person can always be beaten... so in order to have the majority you have to be in control. I played honorably because there was not one person who I voted out who didn't in some way vote or conspire against me FIRST! Not ONE person. And that's the honest truth... check the history.

2) Do you think Matt screwed JewishHobbit?

It's possible to come to that conclusion... but you should know this: gray areas are always a hosts call, and shouldn't be spat upon. He made it clear from the beginning that exile wasn't immunity... so having 5 votes against you should remove you. As for the words mentioned about "you can't be voted out", I always took that to mean that no one else can vote you out.... but self-inflicted wounds have to be properly penalized, especially since you weren't immune, which was also said. I suppose you could argue that there appeared to be a conflicting rule... which would make it a gray area leaving it up to the host to determine three things: what he originally meant... any precedents out there, and finally if the player understood they were breaking a rule. The penalty is up to the host based on the understanding of those three things.

Venom Drool
Tell me who you have been honorable or dishonorable to during your quest to reach the final two?

I wasn't dishonorable to anyone who wasn't dishonorable to me first. That's a fact. I did have a hand in voting out 'fire (as did everyone else), but I was never allied with him. Everyone else I voted for either never left on my command, or had backstabbed me at some point... I just never told them I knew about it. As for being honorable... well, I can't really say I was "most" honorable to anyone person, because I tried with a lot of people... one especially was Jewhob who I told him how I wanted to ally with him, and made a huge promise to him, and he turned on me... so my quest to reach the finals stood as what it always has been, a game of Survivor. Only one person wins the game... and everyone should look to make themselves the winner. End of story.

Immortalfire
Congratulations to both of you on making the final two.
Two Questions:
1) I wondered if you had a specific way you would do things from the beginning, or did you "wing it" along the way?

I had a specific way from the start: extremely specific. I detailed so much that I was way ahead of myself... but this game is not one where you can get too far ahead, because anything can change at any time (ie -- Teddy could host, and 50% of the players could win immunity... or your closest allies could screw you over). I think anyone who can have a specific plan; stick by it for most of the game; roll with the punches, and play off everyone who tries to do you in... and STILL make the finals has achieved a lot. Like I said, I started the game with a target, and I finished with a target. I wouldn't have been suprised if I got booted any day up until now... and yet here I am... so I would say vote for me for one reason: I did what I set out to do thus far... let's make it happen!

2) And, are either of you plotting revenge on TEDDY?

You have no idea... you have no idea what's upon him now....

StorminNorman
Whats more important: To be an ethical player and honor your alliances or to win at any cost ?

It's a game where only one person can win... at some point, even if you only have one alliance, you're gonna have to beat them to in order to win... so it is about winning at any cost. And I'm not just saying that for myself, I'm saying that for everyone who plays, because so many people stand by the pride of not backstabbing anyone... only thing is, they may be allied with someone who did all the dirty work for them to make them look pretty. In the games I played in, two games ago I played as an ally for jackcool... I took the hits, and went to the finals with him... who won? The one who never backstabbed. One game ago I carried Toven deep into the game. She saw me as a threat, and had Jewhob vote me out (someone I was allied with ironically). She used him as a pawn because her core three included kmack, and of course Toven would never turn on a girl to take Jew to the finals.... regardless, her and Kmack went to the dance, and Kmack won because of Toven's backstabbing. I actually told her she played a fine game, and congrats to her for kicking me off when she did... that was smart. I wanted her to win for that alone. I respect someone who plays the game like a champion. In any sport or challenge, the ones who are passive don't deserve to be there... they've rode the coattails of someone else. The ones who take charge and do the work are the champs... and it would be out of spite, and spite alone to do that now... don't let it happen again! Ethics only matter if you're playing for your closest of allies and when it comes to the game rules: then and ONLY then does it matter. Anyone who backstabs loses the favor of being a closest ally.

Darren Daring

Kipobe: How do you respond to Jew's claims that you orchestrated my vote out?

I'm more sad for Jew, and here's why: Jew is one of the future greats of this game, but he took a lot of things personal, and then spent the remainder of the game trying to prove himself... it wasn't even about the win anymore. I knew Jew would spread about an e-mail with a conversation I had with him... but if he read the conversation I had with him first, he'd notice that I said something interesting that was for himself first and foremost: I would give info to players to test their loyalty, and then see how far they would run with it. Remember that Jew? Turns out you took everything I said and decide to try and play Kingpin... only thing is, you didn't figure it would get back to me... and from just about every source too... all but one person who I had little contact from.

Then you tried to blame the whole thing on 'fire? Not knowing that I had built a profile on him from the beginning of the game that stated I knew he wouldn't either think to do that or take that approach? Regardless, you did what you did because you thought I thought of you as a pawn. You know as well as I do, Jew... pawns win this game just as much as Kings. Why? Because pawns do nothing and they manage to sweep by with the work of the kings. Interestingly enough, though... you were not a pawn. You couldn't be... you were an ally and an opponent at the same time. I tried to say "don't do this/that" all the time whilst at the same time taking bullets to protect you... just because I never told you "how" or "why", it doesn't mean you were a pawn... you were an integral part of my team alliance... so much so I openly and honstly wanted to trade in Brodie for you to move up a spot on the loyalty chain... why? Because Brodie wasn't contributing as much as you were.... despite his extreme loyalty. But I would've included Brodie in the decision had he of outlasted Teddy's day of terror... but it never came to that. Since you decided to backstab me, I saw no need to include you on that alliance any longer, and as any one who backstabs a player should know, your days are numbered after that. I guarantee you Jew, it was a done deal for you from that point on... and the very fact that you took it personal after that was your downfall, because any move made off emotion is a wrong one in Survivor. It's mindplay, guts and glory... and that's teh game I played.

Don't vote against me because you think I may have backstabbed you... vote for me because I played each day with determination and structure. My opponent is a great one, he really is... and I'm impressed by his challenge skills especially, but he was my ally, and every vote out I gave, he was with me by association... so vote for me because I orchestrated my own destiny... and in a game of 18 players there has to be 17 casualties... this last challenge is simply "who was the fittest". Vote with that in mind alone, and you'll have the true answer.

In quick closing I wanna say that Matt was my first host in Survivor, and he encouraged me to play my first game (I believe in 2003/4)... and if this is the last dance for me, then I'm glad I left on his hosting stint as well... but it's been great, and I enjoy the game... mostly I enjoy seeing new people play to protect the future integrity of the game. I gave my all in this one, and it was a blast... hope to see it go on for many years... until I'm 35 when I plan on killing myself.

Thanks for the memories.

Asteroid-Man is trying to kill us all Matt...there's a thread on the first page.

Holy ****, he actually did it

All voting PMs are sent. Its now in the jury's hands.

Just to note.... Kipobe apparently has no idea what my mindset was while I was trying to pull votes. It's almost humorous.

For starters... nothing was personal. The only thing in this game that I took personally was Matt's decision, because I honestly 100% felt it was a bad call, but it was his to make. My 'betrayal' had nothing to do with my being upset at that. Nothing about Kipobe was so bad where I took it personally.

And that's just the beginning of what he got wrong. Example: I knew he'd get my PM sent to him (there was no question about that), I had no desire to play the role of Kingpin (Hippie might know what I mean by that if he remembered the plan we played with, maybe not), and the parts of our conversation that you seem to think I didn't notice (about testing and such) I noticed the moment you spoke it, I just decided to not care.

We'll discuss it later over PM. You seem to have taken this ordeal more personally than I did (which is none). Don't appreciate the tone of belittlement though.
