well i'm glad you realized you made a mistake and i hope the people you offended forgive you . i was entertained by it at first but then saw it was going to far . it is just a game but people are putting alot of time into it so then it becomes hard not to catch feelings. anyway good to see you back.

Sorry but the guy went on a far bigger rant than i did and i got banned then that replaced with probation, fair enough he has troubles at home, we all do but when most of us mention them we get the reply 'it's not an excuse we all have lives' Maybe banning him was too much but probation in the least should have been given to him, people have done far less and have been banned and remain banned.

Like i said Fran may have issues with his dad but thats not an excuse to treat people the way he has im sure Fran does not give a hoot what i think but i was brought up to say what i feel and i feel letting him back without any punishment of any sort just seem's one rule for some another for others.

People troll these boards, people ***** about others but because there deemed a 'hype legend' or even a 'hype celebrity' (2 of the most stupid terms i've ever heard, it's a message board) they get special treatment. No doubt this'll get deleted by some mod who deleted my last post asking fran if the place is so ****, so crap hence him asking to be banned, and posting naked pictures because he hated the place so much.

If you hate the place dont come back, but on the same note dont use personal situations, other people are in tough situations, they dont use them as an excuse.

I dont wanna start an argument, nor did i type this to get people rattled up. But i had to say what i think.

The difference was....he went at a mod..........usually when that happens, we take a different look at it. Hunter could have IP banned him.....other posters don't have that ability.....so Hunter took a different route. You also flamed over days, his was not.

If Matt was a mod at the time that you did your little flaming.....we would have allowed Matt to handle it the way he saw fit.....

I wonder how that would have turned out....

Correction i never flamed over days i flamed twice, it was my opinion, i was totally calm, it's a shame to many mod's dont allow freedom of speech. then trolled once, until then a word i had know knowledge of the meaning of.

I have no doubt if Matt was in charge i would have been banned altogether, because even though you guys are moderating a board about comic book movies and such it is still overly uptight. Someone on here a few weeks ago said that HR and DL are the two best mods (at the time HR was a mod) on this site, they look at everything with the sense it should be looked at and do there job in a proffesional yet understanding manner, that the other mod's could take a leaf out of the book's and it'strue too many mods on here take it too seriously, you do have your favorites and if your (the mods) are in a position of responsibility then that should not be the case at all.

And I agree there shouldn't be a big, blanket rule. Sometimes you just have to look at the individual. Of course I am going to treat saaay, Superman (just because he is the first example that came to mind) to a different standard than a disruptive poster. If Superman, who has been here for 6 or 7 years and has never once stepped out of line, has a bad day...I will probably be more leinent than if a newbie pops up and starts posting obscenities.
