Good evening spies and welcome to Day Three on the Island. I have good news and bad news to begin this day with. The bad news is that the White Tribe has viciously assassinated a member of the Black Tribe. The good news is, it was Asteroid-Man. But seriously Assy, you've carved your own unique little legacy in this game and you will be missed.

Day three features the return of my personal favorite challenge from "Hype Survivor 28: I'm a Marvel/I'm a DC," (which, for the record, I'm the champion of[/shamelessplug] ). But before we get to that, there have been a couple alterations regarding submission of challenges and captains so I strongly suggest you review...


The Rules:

Twenty four spies. Two tribes. One Survivor.

Each 'day' is marked by a new challenge. Days in this game can last anywhere from ten minutes to one week. Each tribe will receive team challenges (instructions for challenges will be explained for each challenge). Challenges can be anything from basic trivia, to various games, to photo editing competitions. Judgment and scoring of challenges will vary depending on the challenge and will be explained in the challenge PM. The tribe who wins the challenge will receive immunity. The tribe who loses the challenge will go to tribal council.

Tribal council is simple. Each player receives on vote, you vote out the person you want to remove from the game. Majority vote wins. Once you are voted out, you no longer play the game and for all intents and purposes lose. Ties at tribal council will be broken by special challenges.

At some point the tribes will be merged into one tribe. Only the hosts will know about this day until the time it actually comes. Once tribes merge, challenges will be played for individual immunity at tribal council. In other words, you’re on your own.

Hype! Survivor is a game of both strategy and deception. Alliances are both permitted, and encouraged. Masterminding and forethought are the keys to success. On a side note: alliances can be with any of the 26 players... doesn't matter who they are... doesn't matter what tribes they're on... just make sure it's someone you trust... or not. As the old saying goes: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

The final Jury will be composed of 7 people: everyone voted off from the remaining nine players who didn't make the finals. The Jury and only the Jury will vote FOR WHO THEY THINK SHOULD WIN of the final two remaining players to find the winner of the Hype! Survivor.

A note on cheating: It's very easy to cheat in this game. Very, very easy. Some of the rounds will be much more difficult to cheat at than others (some will be downright impossible to cheat on). Regardless, hosts have ways of catching you, and sometimes will even set up traps for you. If you feel you have to cheat in an internet game, by all means, go ahead... but if you're caught, you WILL be penalized. Again, specific rules of what's legal or not will be in each challenge PM.

This game will bring a couple new elements into the game. Firstly are reward challenges. Most challenges will include a built on side challenge that is entirely optional but winning it will give you or your tribe a reward of various types and sizes. These are separate from immunity challenges and are not required, but could be very useful.

This game will also feature the return of the hidden immunity idol. There is an immunity idol is hidden somewhere on the Hype. If you find it, it can be used in any tribal council prior to the revelation of votes. If you use it, you are safe from being voted out at that tribal council and all votes against you will be discarded. Once it is used, the user loses it and it will be hidden somewhere else on the Hype. It can be used any time until the final five tribal council. Once you’re in the final four, it is dead. Clues to the location will be the reward in alternating reward challenges. They will be given to your tribe captain and it is their choice as to whether or not they’d like to share them.

Starting with Day 2, Tribe Captains are to be announced in your tribe forum prior to the start of every challenge. They, and only they can submit your tribe’s official challenge submission. The same player cannot be captain twice in a row.

Once a submission is made in your tribe's forum or by PM, it is final. No editting of the submission or resubmission will be accepted, regardless of how much time remains until the deadline.

Finally, each tribe has a mole within it. This player is a double agent for the other tribe and will secretly vote in their tribe’s tribal council. For example, there is a member of the Black Tribe in the White Tribe. Despite being a member of the White Tribe and being able to be voted out of the White Tribe, they can secretly vote in the Black Tribe’s and only the Black Tribe’s tribal council. Likewise, there is a member of the White Tribe in Black and they have the same voting privileges. Now your job as a tribe is to root out this traitor and vote them out. If the spies make it to the merge, they will receive a HUGE clue as to the location of the hidden immunity idol as well as all other clues given up until that point.

These rules are subject to change at any time with absolutely no warning. They are more of guidelines for the game. Specific rules for each challenge will be issued via Challenge PM.

Assume everything is Eastern Time Zone.

Now, where was I? Ah yes, my favorite challenge from that game that Matt won. Special thanks to SF and chaseter for creating this challenge. I hope you guys have as much fun with it as I did. Though I'm not sure you will, as today, you will be dealing with the one thing everyone in the intelligence field fears above all else...BUREAUCRATS ISSUING A CONGRESSIONAL SUBPOENA! DUM DUM DUM!

If someone threatened your country, your family, or the one you love the most, how far would you go to protect them?

We have few true guardians here in the United States of America with the ability to protect us. The dangers we face often come with only a warning of a few hours, if none at all.

This man that you are questioning and accusing is none other than Agent Jack Bauer, one of the greatest heroes this nation has ever produced. He has saved countless lives each time within the day that he was put into action. Every time, without fail. He used every means at his disposal to save millions of lives.

In the past 10 years, we have been confronted with notable terrorist attacks including but not limited to: a nuclear bomb that was detonated on our territory.

Throughout these horrifying acts, it has been the actions of one man who has saved thousands of lives. Former director of the CTU, Bill Buchanan, will testify that Bauer's methods were instrumental in the following events:

• In 2001, Agent Bauer saved the life of future President Palmer and discovered a mole inside our secret agency, even in having to deal with the loss of his wife in the process of stopping this plot.

• In 2003, Agent Bauer prevented the detonation of a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles.

• In 2006, Agent Bauer prevented a biological threat that would have killed millions.

• In 2008, Agent Bauer prevented another nuclear threat. One that involved the whole US nuclear arsenal.

• In 2009, Agent Bauer implicated President Logan in a plot that would have killed thousands of Americans using nerve gas.

• In 2011, Agent Bauer prevented an all out nuclear war between Russia and the US while limiting the damage the nuclear bomb caused in Los Angeles.

His methods of interrogation are the subject of controversy. He is often mandated and selected by Presidents when they can do nothing else, and Agent Bauer always produces. Why must he handcuff himself when the information he obtains and is ASKED to obtain can save not just hundreds, or thousands, but millions of American lives?

If we allow even one American to die by NOT using every tool we have at our disposal, we have failed to protect the American people.

While our opponents will try to exploit how Agent Bauer used his methods, they will not tell you some of the reasons for Bauer's actions. On several occasions he was given the green light to use whatever means necessary to obtain information by the President of the United States himself!

An example of this is back in 2008; when President David Palmer issued the go ahead for Agent Bauer to torture an NSA agent with information regarding a bomb, which can be confirmed by former Chief of Staff Mike Novick. He also confirms Agent Bauer was given the go ahead to use lethal force to bring the end to his Supervisor, also at the discretion of the highest office in our nation. The President has used Agent Bauer's methods to his advantage when it benefited him.
Bauer's methods are also supported by the States of Exception [When Judicial Order is suspended]. The States of Exception are only used in the most dire of circumstances. Agent Bauer’s predicament does not apply under the States of Exception, as it is the ONLY solution to a major threat in our nation.

Agent Bauer has used his methods in times when our nation was DIRECTLY threatened by terrorists, and we are a nation that does not yield to terrorists!

It should be stated here: Agent Bauer’s methods, no matter how unorthodox, work. This is proven by the copious amount of attacks that he himself has prevented. He can make the most stubborn terrorist sing, and when they do, the answers save millions of lives.

Bill Buchanan stated in debriefings with Agent Bauer that torture yielded vital information in preventing threats to the United States many times. He cited Agent Bauer using electric shock on Paul Raines with wires from a lamp in order to prevent a plot that sought to melt down reactors. He also cites Agent Bauer staging the execution of the son of terrorist Syed Ali in order to obtain information about the location of a bomb.

In both of these examples , he was successful in obtaining the needed information that led to the prevention of these heinous acts.

While the world continues to condemn Agent Jack Bauer, I say we should commend him. Jack Bauer has saved the lives of many American people and may have saved this country from complete annihilation. The world we live in today is dangerous. Government officials are the prime target of assassinations, and our very nation is the center of attention for chemical, biological and nuclear attacks.

Make no mistake: these threats are very real. If it wasn’t for the actions of Agent Jack Bauer, an UNFATHOMABLE number of American citizens would be dead.
Why should our nation turn our backs on Agent Jack Bauer and his methods now? To do so would be to turn our backs on our nation. To do so would be to turn our backs on everything we hold dearly as Americans. To do so would be to sign our own freedom over to those who would exploit and terrorize us.
We are a nation that will use every means necessary in order to protect our people. Agent Jack Bauer has proved time and time again that he is not only capable of saving lives, but that he alone is responsible for saving millions of lives.

Members of the Committee,

My name is Jonathan Smith. I am a proud member of Amnesty Global, and a proud American. At AG, we are dedicated to the protection of human rights for all people around the world. I love this nation, not only because its greatness, but also because of the ideals that it stands for. I am also sure that everyone in this committee shares the very same passion that I hold deep in my heart.

However, I come to you now to discuss a very upsetting matter. It is my strong belief that the ideals that we as Americans hold so dear to our hearts, are in grave danger. A danger represented by former CTU Special Agent, and Director of Field Operations, Jack Bauer.

Mr. Bauer's defense will tell you that he "has saved this country from certain destruction more times than Mario has saved the Princess," and "the actions of Mr. Bauer have saved thousands of innocent lives."

Now, I will certainly admit that Mr. Bauer has saved many lives in his long career with CTU. And for that, this nation should be grateful. However, we should not be grateful for the barbaric methods that he employs. (Methods which include torture, murder, conspiracy, kidnapping, and much more.)

Mr. Bauer's actions haven't kept us safe. They have put us at risk and have severely damaged our reputation as a defender and upholder of human rights.

Many have debated the merits of the use of torture for interrogation purposes. However, in the opinion of myself and the law, it is frankly unacceptable.

The Eighth Amendment of the United States Constitution specifically states "nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted" and according to the Supreme Court case Kemmler, 136 US 436 in 1890 and in several other cases, this also includes the use of torture. In 2004, Congress amended the Immigration and Nationality Act to make aliens who have committed torture inadmissible to the United States and subject to deportation. Torture is prohibited under United States Code. We have participated in the drafting of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and have ratified the American Convention on Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the UN Convention Against Torture. The law makes it very clear - We don't torture.

Regardless of how we may feel about these pieces of legislation, we cannot just discard them. We are a nation of rules and a nation of laws. Without them we would have fallen into anarchy and despair a long time ago.

Now some, like Mr. Bauer, will argue that the law doesn't matter when it comes to our safety and security. I respectfully disagree. We can obtain the very same results that Mr. Bauer has produced, without the need of his barbaric tactics. The chart shown below indicates instances where we were able to stop and prevent terrorist attacks and threats without the use of torture. And more specifically, within the law...

What makes it even worse is that the use of torture, while it has sometimes yielded good intelligence in the past, is overall ineffective in gathering information. There is no way to determine if the information gathered from torture is solid actionable intelligence or not. For example, torture was used to gather intelligence over the links between Saddam Hussein's Baathist regime in Iraq and the terrorist group al-Qaeda. Information that was used to justify the Iraq War. Information that has turned out to be false. This inaccurate information has led to the deaths of over one million people, including over 4,000 brave American soldiers and separating 300,000 men and women from their lives and families, not only in the United States, but throughout the world.

Torture techniques employed by various facets within the United States government and enacted by agents such as Mr. Bauer have been used as a recruitment tool for the same terrorist organizations that we seek to shut down. For every terrorist that Mr. Bauer has tortured, he has fed into the proganda machine that terror organizations use. He has undeniably created many more terrorists, and has put our great nation at risk.

I would like to take this opportunity to present to you specific instances of Mr. Bauer using torture upon his victims:

March 7, 20XX
10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Mr. Bauer kidnapped Ted Cofell, the CEO of Cofell Enterprises, and interrogated him by gunpoint and threatened to shove a wet towel down his throat, a torture method used in Russian Gulags.

September 20, 20XX
1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. - Mr. Bauer interrogates former CTU agent Nina Myers and in the process strangles her with his bare hands and fires two shots above her head

9:00 P.M - 10:00 P.M. - Mr. Bauer shoots Marie Warner and then proceeds to interrogate her without proper medical treatment and refusing to give her something to relieve her of her pain. During the interrogation he squeezes on her gunshot wound.

September 20XX
11:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. - Mr. Bauer threatens Stephen Saunders that if he didn't give up specific information, that he would send Mr. Saunders' daughter, Jane, into the Chandler Plaza Hotel which is contaminated with the Cordilla virus.

March 20XX
10:00 P.M. - 11:00 P.M. - Mr. Bauer tortures Joe Prado by breaking his fingers and threatening with a knife.

5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. - Mr. Bauer breaks into the hotel room of Paul Raines, someone who wasn't a terrorist, and interrogates him by electrocuting him, using the wires from a broken lamp.

3:00 A.M.- 4:00 A.M. - Mr. Bauer shoots Habib Marwan after he was already captured and knelt on the wound.

September 20XX
5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. - Mr. Bauer interrogates Christopher and Miriam Henderson by threatening them by gunpoint. In order to get Robocop to talk, Mr. Bauer shot Miriam in the leg. Mr. Bauer received no information

But the part that I fear the most is the fact that Mr. Bauer has no limits on who he will torture on May 21, 2009, he even tortured his own brother, Graem Bauer with a plastic bag and inflammatory drugs which resulted in his brother's death:

The fact that he tortures whoever he pleases including those who have already been properly arrested and even members of his own family is incredibly disturbing.

Mr. Bauer's crimes go far beyond torture. His crimes extend to murder, kidnapping, and more.

March 7, 20XX
Mr. Bauer thwarted the efforts of terrorist Victor Drazen. What we do know of the events of that night is that Mr. Bauer was in a gunfight with both Mr. Drazen and his son which resulted in their deaths. However, I can prove to you, that Victor Drazen was not killed in the gunfight, but was instead murdered by Mr. Bauer.

#1: When we found Mr. Drazen's gun, we discovered that it was empty. He must have used up all of his ammunition during the gunfight with Mr. Bauer. While not proving that the gunfight was over, it does open up the possibility that it was.

#2: The location where Mr. Drazen was killed was an open space that could not provide cover. The last time I checked, you go into cover in a gunfight to try and prevent getting shot yourself. This is the first sign that confirms that the theory that gunfight was over.

#3: Based on forensic evidence, we were able to determine that Mr. Bauer killed Mr. Drazen from a very close range. This is the second sign that confirms the theory that the gunfight was over. The only time you kill someone from a close range in a wide open space is in a duel, not in a gunfight where you tried to find cover.

#4: The number of bullet wounds found on Mr. Drazen's body. In his autopsy, coroners discovered 12 bullet wounds from Mr. Drazen's body. It usually takes just one bullet wound to end a gun fight. Two or three at the most. No man is going to continue fighting when he has more than five bullet wounds. It is impossible from the ensuing blood loss, the excruciating amount of pain, and the limits of human endurance.

As a result of these findings, we have a case of 1 + 1 + 1 + 1. Mr. Drazen ran out of bullets during his gunfight with Mr. Bauer, and once realizing that he did, and knowing that Mr. Bauer still had a fully loaded firearm, proceeded to surrender. He walked into an open space, clearly harmless. And then Mr. Bauer, went up to him and released an entire clip on him, killing him in cold blood. Not in self-defense.

But that wasn't the first murder he committed that day. Remember the first victim I mentioned of Mr. Bauer's torture methods? After being interrogated, Ted Cofell attempted to attack Mr. Bauer with a knife according to Mr. Bauer's debriefing. An attack that Mr. Bauer was able to subdue him by breaking his wrist. However, Mr. Bauer then punched Mr. Cofell, an already subdued man, in the heart. What you might not know is that Mr. Cofell also had a heart condition. The punch sent Mr. Cofell's heart into disarray and resulted in his death. We know this from autopsy results on Mr. Cofell's body. The results showed signs of physical abuse by Mr. Bauer himself whose fingerprints were all over the body and limousine in which Mr. Cofell was killed in.

September 20, 20XX
In an attempt to go undercover, Mr. Bauer murdered Marshall Goren. Mr. Goren was a witness against Joseph Wald, an anti-government terrorist. In an attempt to gain Mr. Wald's trust, Mr. Bauer kidnapped Mr. Goren, took him to CTU headquarters in Los Angeles and then shot and killed him. But to make the matter even more barbaric, just like with Victor Drazen, Mr. Bauer then cut off Mr. Goren's head to send to Joseph Wald.

March 20XX
Mr. Bauer forced the doctors at CTU at gunpoint to save the life of Lee Jong, and forced them to abandon saving the life of Paul Raines, one of his torture victims, who also saved Mr. Bauer's life by pushing him out of the way and taking the bullet instead. What should also be noted is that Mr. Raines is the ex-husband of Jack's former lover, Audrey Raines. Considering that Mr. Raines was not a terrorist and would have likely cooperated with proper persuasion, it is in my opinion that Jack's actions towards Mr. Raines were based on passion and jealousy over Mr. Raines' former relationship with Ms. Raines.

On that very same day, under authorization of the late President David Palmer, Mr. Bauer violated Chinese sovereignty by infiltrating the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles in an attempt to arrest Lee Jong without proper authorization from the Chinese government. However, during the illegal mission, Mr. Bauer and his associates got into a firefight with Consulate Security. The confrontation resulted in the death of Chinese Consul Koo Yin in the crossfire. A death that would have never happened if Mr. Bauer didn't illegally infiltrate the Chinese Consulate. To make matters even worse, Mr. Bauer faked his own death and created a new identity to avoid the fallout of his actions. Fallout that included prosecution and imprisonment by the Chinese government.

September 20XX
Following the assassination of President Palmer, Mr. Bauer was framed for the murder by President Logan. (Logan's actions caused Mr. Bauer to resurface.) Mr. Bauer then kidnapped President Charles Logan and rendered him unconscious by tazer. When he woke up, was then threatened at gun point. Charles Logan is a horrible man for what he has done but that does not give Mr. Bauer the right to kidnap and assault others.

May 21, 20XX
The same day that Mr. Bauer murdered his brother, Mr. Bauer also killed Director of Field Operations Curtis Manning. While I am not going to condone Mr. Mannings actions, he was planning to murder Hamri al-Assad. In an attempt to save al-Assad's life, Mr. Bauer shot Curtis Manning in the neck, killing him almost instantly.

On the same day, he also killed Christopher Henderson in cold blood and then proceeded to lie about the murder claiming that it was in self-defense. On the submarine Natalia K-524, Mr. Henderson was in possession of an unloaded firearm. Mr. Bauer told Mr. Henderson that he was responsible for the deaths of his friends and then fired two shots into Mr. Henderson, killing him. We know this based on testimony from Petty Officer Third Class Tim Rooney who witnessed the entire event. To make matters worse, Mr. Bauer also broke into his house and traumatized Mr. Henderson's wife Miriam, an innocent woman, by shooting her in the leg.

In conclusion, it is true that Mr. Bauer has saved the lives of many Americans. However, in the process of doing so, Mr. Bauer has put American security at risk with his heinous methods. These methods are being used as a terrorist recruitment tool. These methods have jeopardized our relations with other nations, particularly with the People's Republic of China. These methods are responsible for the deaths of innocent people and have damaged the image of the United States throughout the world.

Mr. Bauer is a true American hero...but no one is above the law. He stands against everything that this nation was founded upon. For that, along with his many, many crimes against humanity, freedom, and the law...I implore this esteemed committee on behalf of Amnesty Global and the American people to proceed with the prosecution against Mr. Bauer so that he may face justice for his actions.

Members of the Committee,

As expected, the defense has presented a very interesting case, but there are an incredible amount of flaws within that case. (Our case, on the other hand, is rooted in truth and fact and can be fact checked through proper legal channels.)

The defense would have you believe that the only solution to gaining actionable intelligence in times of crisis is through torture. That statement is incredibly and undeniably false, ill-advised, and dangerous. There are a wide range of legal options for obtaining actionable intelligence. Options that are used everyday by the FBI, CIA, NSA, CTU, and many other great agencies to protect us. Options that are successful. (As we have demonstrated by an earlier graph depicting foiled terrorist attacks following 9/11.)

The defense has also chosen to frame their argument against Mr. Bauer’s prosecution on a claim that his actions fall under the ‘State of Exception’. (However, in the very next sentence, they contradict themselves by saying that Mr. Bauer’s actions ‘do not apply’ to the ‘State of Exception’.) As referenced in their opening statement:

Bauer's methods are also supported by the States of Exception [When Judicial Order is suspended]. The States of Exception are only used in the most dire of circumstances. Agent Bauer’s predicament does not apply under the States of Exception, as it is the ONLY solution to a major threat in our nation.

What they do not tell you is that the ‘State of Exception’ is a theory, not an actual law. The ‘State of Exception’ is a theory that was created by Carl Schmitt, who was a German jurist, Catholic philosopher, political theorist, and professor of law. In the United States of America, we govern through laws, not theories.

The defense has also called on a very close friend and mentor of Mr. Bauer, former Director of CTU, Bill Buchanan, to testify on his behalf. In the view of Amnesty Global, there is a very real and severe conflict of interest in using such an ally of Mr. Bauer in his defense. On top of that, Mr. Buchanan also has issues with ethics and integrity.

What the defense neglected to tell you is that Mr. Buchanan was removed from his position as Director of CTU due to a breach of protocol. You see, after learning of Mr. Bauer’s potential involvement in the assassination of President David Palmer, Mr. Buchanan issued an arrest warrant for Mr. Bauer. Unfortunately, Mr. Buchanan betrayed that order and ended up helping Mr. Bauer escape from federal custody. (A decision that caused Mr. Buchanan to be detained and ultimately removed from his position as Director of CTU.) However, this wasn't the only time Mr. Buchanan has been fired from CTU. Mr. Buchanan has actually been fired from CTU numerous times for 'conduct unbecoming'. (One such firing coming from his own wife, Karen Hayes.) Now I ask you - how credible can Mr. Buchanan's testimony really be when he has proven that he will say or do anything, so long as it furthers an outcome he approves of?

To provide the Committee with a more precise understanding of Mr. Bauer's reckless attitude and lack of restraint, former Director of CTU, Erin Driscoll, has agreed to testify on behalf of the prosecution. Ms. Driscoll will testify to firing Mr. Bauer as Director of Field Operations in 2007 due to his addiction to heroin. She will also testify to a truly horrific scene that played out in CTU involving the standard interrogation of Tomas Sherek. Ms. Driscoll oversaw this interrogation herself and personally questioned Mr. Sherek. In the middle of the interrogation, Mr. Bauer pulled Ms. Driscoll from the holding room to tell her that he was convinced Mr. Sherek was hiding something. Ms. Driscoll, keeping in mind what Mr. Bauer had just told her, returned to said holding room and continued with a standard method of questioning. Mr. Bauer became so full of rage with the lack of progress in the interrogation that he came into the holding room (against Director's orders) and then proceeded to shoot Mr. Sherek in the knee with a hand gun. As referenced in this security photo from a CTU closed circuit camera mounted inside the holding room at the time of the incident:

The defense would have you believe that Mr. Bauer only resorts to barbaric actions in times of necessity or danger. That is simply not true. If you look closely at the wrists of Mr. Sherek, you will notice that he was completely subdued by handcuffs in a controlled holding room when this incident took place. Now, you're probably asking yourself the same thing I am...how in the world is it deemed a necessity to shoot a subdued man in the knee to increase the pacing of an interrogation? To put it simply, it is never a necessity. It is wrong. And it is illegal.

Another note of importance is that public opinion skews very heavily against any form of torture. As referenced by the following graph:

Amnesty Global, on behalf of the American people, with the rule of law and our new President-elect on our side, are advocating that justice be done. The prosecution of Jack Bauer must go forward. We must send a clear message to the world that we are not a nation that tortures. We are not a nation that disrespects the laws of humanity and common decency.

We are a nation of laws. A nation of integrity. And a nation of peace.

Would Amnesty Global rather that a nuclear bomb would have destroyed the whole of Los Angeles for that is what would have happened if Jack Bauer did not employ the extreme measures he did. Did it involve disputable interrogation techniques? Yes but in this situation it yielded the right results.

This Johnathan Smith wants to make it look like Agent Bauer enjoys torturing people for his own sick amusement, when this is simply not true. He doesn't do it out of joy. He does it out of necessity. We are not looking for a referendum on torture, rather a dispensation which was provided to this man who has probably saved even our lives through his actions. Jack Bauer had an implied dispensation given high level people including our departed ex President Palmer were well aware of the enhanced interrogation techniques Mr. Bauer would employ when faced with no other feasible alternative.

Amnesty Global also likes to discuss examples of terrorist plots being prevented without the use of torture, yet they don't cite any sources! How do you know these plots were prevented without extracting information without the use of torture? How do we know this isn't hearsay? How can you expect us, or anyone for that matter, to believe this information WHEN YOU HAVE NO PROOF! Yet, WE HAVE a SOURCE in Bill Buchanan who can verify that these methods DID help prevent terrorist threats. You offer nothing but hearsay, and as such, the jury should discard this so-called "information."

Jack Bauer saves lives and in doing so employs extreme measures against extreme men and women. Because before we go on with this charade of portraying some of these supposed victims. I would like to redress who these people were.

Ted Coffel was a Serbian terrorist working for Victor Drazen. Ted Coffel was not even his real name. And I would also like to note that Jack Bauer has told me under oath that he tried to save “Mr. Coffel” despite his crimes but this terrorist refused his heart medicine spitting it out preferring to die rather then face his crimes.

Marie Warner was a terrorist who had killed on that same day two Agents before killing her fiancé. Not to mention she helped plant a nuclear bomb which would have killed thousands if not millions.

Joe Prado was helping Marwan Habib, the terrorist that attempted to launch all the US nuclear arsenal. He was able to inform Mr. Bauer of the location of Mr. Habib, which eventually led to his capture.

Lets also note that these accusations of murder were never substantiated nor have charges ever been put forward against Mr. Bauer. Notably, he did not kill his own brother and left while he was still alive. And Victor Drazen attempted to kill Jack Bauer when he was down and fired unaware that his gun was empty. Jack Bauer fired in reaction. There were no witnesses and therefore nothing to claim that Jack did not fire back at the same time Victor was pulling his trigger.

I would just like to note that at this time my team is comprising a law suit against Amnesty Global for making such improvable statements with no substantial proof. We therefore expect them to retract or they will face a monumental contribution that will have to make to the VA after we finish suing them for defamation.

Our Congressional Subcommittee consisted of three long time Hype members. One I know tends to have conservative leanings politically, the other liberal. I figured one of each would keep things balanced. Then while I considered going the route of a moderate, I decided instead to go with someone who is politically apathetic as far as I know, but is a hardcore 24 fan. Our Subcommittee was instructed to put aside personal views and vote strictly based upon arguments made. So without further adue...the results.

The first member of our Congressional Subcommittee was none other than TheCorpulent1, whose political views I do not know, but what I do know is that he knows his 24. With that in mind, I was expecting a different vote...but he voted for...
