Hype Survivor Hype Survivor 30: Big Brother (Week 1) - Tag, get the **** out!

So only 17 peeps signed up, not 18? So is it 3 or 4 that need to be tagged out?

This should be... interesting.

(Will we get to see the grid before we start planning our moves?)

This challenge is starting to sound a bit familiar. I thought to myself if I was ever going to try to do it again, that I would try to use something like a chess board online to make it easier to orchestrate. Good luck with it JH.

17 people are signed up and we need to get down to 14 people, so the first 3 people who are eliminated from this challenge are eliminated from the game. The rest move forward.

I've made the decision to hold onto the grid until just prior to the challenge starting.

I will give you this information though... there is at least 1 open space between players starting out, more often than not there are two or more spaces between people starting out. And the grid itself is a square, not oddlly shaped or anything.

Also, something I hadn't thought about mentioning earlier. The walls are walls, if you're on the left side of the board and choose left... you stay put. You don't jump to the other side of the board or anything. Just FYI.

Thanks! Honestly, the game we played that was layed out like this was probably my favorite challenge I've ever played, so I knew I wanted to incorporate it's system into my game somehow, and I wanted to try it with a LOT of people to see how it goes.

This could be intersting, or it could be a nightmare. I'm excited to see how it plays out.

Question: is there a deadline for this challenge? I have a feeling this will last a while. Like Matt's hurt and heal challenge in **** City

There is no deadline, so chances are it WILL last a long while. It's a bit of an iron man challenge. Not only how badly do you want to make it into the 14 player game, but how badly do you want to be safe week 1 and the power of choosing which 2 people may go home this week.

Keep in mind, you'll put 2 people up but everyone else are options for you to put up. If they're smart they'll want to get some input in to put other people on the block and save their own butts. Well, you'll be able to get some good information that way for your own use... however you feel you want to use it.

First week is interesting... how badly do you want to be a player in it and how badly do you want to be the man in charge?

Will this be down in parts? Like 3 hours tomorrow and 3 hours everyday til it's over or what?

I'm wondering this as well. Like, at midnight tomorrow, will we keep going?

Yeah, I don't wanna be up 24/7 or sending in moves in advance now...as I am sleeping.

I figure we'll go until enough people want to take a break then we'll stop for the night. I'm thinking around midnight but I'm flexible. We'll then start again sometime in the morning or afternoon when it works best for whoever is left and we'll wing it from there depending on the availability of those involved. As I said, I'm flexible.

But no... we're not going to play for 20 hours straight or anything.

Just curious, would people prefer to start prior to 7:30pm? I personally would rather start much earlier but it seemed like the few answers I got prefered later. I mean, I'd like to start around noon myself but no one else seemed to enjoy that time slot.

7:30pm/8pm is perfect, I won't be on at noon.

The later time would be better for me. I'd likely still be at work at noon.
