Goooood morning fighters! Rise and shine! A new day is beginning on our beautiful island and it is time for a new immunity competition!

Yesterday's competition saw Team Shadaloo finally break their embarrassing losing streak and the Street Fighters finally enjoyed the bitter taste of defeat and had to vote off one of their own. Alex...you will be missed...wait...no you won't. You were kind of a pervert. And that may have flown in my **** City game, but not in this one mister! At any rate, I suppose it does not pay to be the team pervert when half of your team is made up of women. See you next game Alex.

As for the Disciples of Gouken, their losing streak continues. They voted to eliminate Nirvana. Nirv fought hard to get back into the game after The New Challengers callously tossed him aside. He fought hard once again but just wasn't quick enough on the draw to win the tie breaker. He shall be missed. But at least he lived long enough to see the demise of his rival in this game, Marx. At any rate, Only three players remain in the Disciples of Gouken. Will they be able to turn it around in this challenge? Time will tell...but lets quit dwelling on the past and move forward!

The Rules:

Twenty six players. Thirteen new, thirteen old. One Survivor.

Each 'day' is marked by a new challenge. Days in this game can last anywhere from ten minutes to one week. Each tribe will receive team challenges (instructions for challenges will be explained for each challenge). Challenges can be anything from basic trivia, to various games, to photo editing competitions. Judgment and scoring of challenges will vary depending on the challenge and will be explained in the challenge PM. The tribe who wins the challenge will receive immunity. The tribe who loses the challenge will go to tribal council.

Tribal council is simple. Each player receives on vote, you vote out the person you want to remove from the game. Majority vote wins. Once you are voted out, you no longer play the game and for all intents and purposes lose. Ties at tribal council will be broken by special challenges.

At some point the tribes will be merged into one tribe. Only the hosts will know about this day until the time it actually happens. Once tribes merge, challenges will be played for individual immunity at tribal council. In other words, you’re on your own.

Hype! Survivor is a game of both strategy and deception. Alliances are both permitted, and encouraged. So find a friend, and sex their brains out. Masterminding and forethought are the keys to success. Laziness and ineffective play will both be penalized and exposed. Hosts have the right to intervene at any point in the game for the sake of keeping dead weight out. As a side note: alliances can be with any of the 26 players... doesn't matter who they are... doesn't matter what tribes they're on... just make sure it's someone you trust... or not. As the old saying goes: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

The final Jury will be composed of 7 people: everyone voted off from the remaining nine players who didn't make the finals. The Jury and only the Jury will vote FOR WHO THEY THINK SHOULD WIN of the final two remaining players to find the winner of the Hype! Survivor.

A note on cheating: It's very easy to cheat in this game. Very, very easy. Some of the rounds will be much more difficult to cheat at than others (some will be downright impossible to cheat on). Regardless, hosts have ways of catching you, and sometimes will even set up traps for you. If you feel you have to cheat in an internet game, by all means, go ahead... but if you're caught, you WILL be penalized. Again, specific rules of what's legal or not will be in each challenge PM.

This game will not support dead weight. If the host feels at any time that you are dead weight he reserves the right to boot you and replace you. Also, if your tribe feels that you are dead weight, they may petition me for your removal from the game and replacement with someone else at which point your case will be heard and it will be decided.. To remove a player from the tribe who you feel is dead weight, the captain of the tribe must petition me via PM. I will decide if this petition is valid, and if approved the tribe will vote and a majority vote will remove the dead weight player, even if you are not going to tribal council

This game will feature the return of Exile Island. The losing tribe has a player removed from their tribe from tribal council. The winning tribe picks who goes. This person is safe from tribal council but also forfeits his or her vote. They will also get a clue as to the location of the hidden immunity idol.

The immunity idol is hidden somewhere on the Hype. If you find it, it can be used in any tribal council prior to the revelation of votes. If you use it, you are safe from being voted out at that tribal council. Once it is used, the user loses it and it will be hidden somewhere else on the Hype. It can be used any time until the final five tribal council. Once you’re in the final four, it is dead.

These rules are subject to change at any time with absolutely no warning. They are more of guidelines for the game. Specific rules for each challenge will be issued via Challenge PM.

Assume everything is Eastern Time Zone.

With our two eliminations here is our new grid:

Now, as for today...the merge is upon us!!! And therefore you will be making another grid!

Kidding, kidding. :woot: The merge is not here yet but it is only just around the corner. With the merge you will undoubtedly make new allies and enemies...these people will either carry you through to the end of the game or stand in your way. Survivor is a game of social networking. So I figured it was time to see just how good you are at making connections with others. PMs will be sent shortly :yay:

All PMs are sent! Judging will begin at 1:30 pm est on Sunday, so get your pages designed by that time. The rest of the challenge will end at 1:30 pm est time on Monday. Good luck!

Okay seriously! This is the 3rd out of 4 challenges that is a popularity contest. One is a fluke, two is a trend, three is evidence. The boobs are going to win!

You have all of Myspace at your disposal. Nothing says that you need to know the people. Just put some boobs in your picture section and I'm sure you'll get all kinds of friends.

Plus you can get 60 additional "friends," if you design the best page. That can easily be a game changer.

I saw Marx go yes, but I didn't get to see Teddy, SuBe, SS, Louie or Star go. :csad:

I'm myspace stupid :csad:

But still...I see no reason why this should be done now. Too many popularity contests. Yes, it is actually on a neutral site, but can't we have some variety?

This one is not a popularity contest/poll. You are SEEKING OUT and trying to get people to confirm you as a friend. You are not just posting something and having people vote on it. Plus it is a website design challenge too. Don't worry, Bella's got something wicked planned for next challenge that will give you the variety you desire. :woot:

But seriously, our options are sort of limited within the context of team challenges. I've got several exciting new challenges mapped out for post merge play.

How is this different than, oh say, seeking out and getting someone to blind vote for you or your fic? The only difference is the site. It is the same challenge. Only with a page design involved.

Not really. You are seeking out strangers, no connections, to friend your very odd MySpace account. Like you said, this is all neutral and a different type of venue.

That reminds me, forgot to say in the PM, you MUST stick to your account/tribe theme. You can't change it to something normal.

I'm sure people sought out others they had no connection with on here also.

Anyway, I've stated my opinion on this. I'm done complaining.

Alright guys, I'm off to play Resident Evil 5. I'll see you in 48 hours for the judging.

In non-game related news, my car just got hit (their fault), and my neck and upper back hurt.

Damn, hope you're okay SF!

I have a dent and scratch in the back end, so that is not my prime concern. That can be pounded out. I'm more concerned about the neck pain.

I saw Marx go yes, but I didn't get to see Teddy, SuBe, SS, Louie or Star go. :csad:
We were rivals? i missed that memo? wasnt i the one who got you in TNC inthe first place :o:cwink:
