Anyone reading this? Seems pretty good thus far but the best part is the notes on the final page about Darfur. I'm liking this book thus far. Anyone else?

whoops wrong thread. No I'm not reading this...
But isn't nighthawk the guy from CW with the fake wings?

This is Supreme Power Nighthawk. So basically he is Marvel's Batman.

The one you are thinking of is most likely Falcon or something like that.

EDIT: Also I am totally picking up this title when I can to get my Squadron Supreme fix.

No, he's also thinking of Nighthawk. The 616, caucasian one.

Who would function poorly as a Batman, though kind of is, anyway.

I didn't read bc i thought it would probably be a rip off of some bats vs supes fight. Can someone give a brief recap?

I'm not reading it. I was thinking about it, even with the writer, the lame concept, crappy art. But then I read the word Darfur, and I was like ok, I'm totally not reading this.

I stopped reading all the SP after the first MK arc, and I wish I'd stopped sooner, all the minis have been mediochre

I hate it when a title starts off so well and goes down the tubes so quickly

I liked the Doctor Spectrum one, and I didn't read the other ones, but I hear the Nighthawk one was good.

Marvel Knights killed this book.:csad:

The Nighthawk one was good.

"I'm going to ask you questions, and then I'm going to kill you. So the longer you talk, the longer you live."

I never read it because Daniel Way's name was on it.

Like you all have said already, MK has sent this series down the toilet. As for the minis: Doc Spec>Nighthawk>Hyperion. I think I'm gonna drop this book after the current fight against Red Stone.

It's so bad that the comic store I was getting my comics from doesn't even shelf it anymore.

I hope Marvel never underestimates the power of nudity and swearing when it comes to selling books :cmad:

I don't know why they would. It seems to work for everything else.

Hell, it's the only reason why my twin is liked more than me.

Hell no. She and I get along like a poor parapalegic trying to outrun an H-bomb.

I'd sooner be Leaguer's wife than hang out with her.

My sister would if he had like fifteen keys on his keychain and owned a company.

what was wrong with night hawks???

I never claimed my sister to be my equal in intelligence.

If she somehow thinks you're important, or she's just that bored, she'll put out.

She was almost married, until somehow her fiancee caught wind of the guys she was banging behind his back.

I for one, find it appalling that anybody would ruin her chance at marital bliss.

I am reading it too and find it very intriguing. The Darfur notes caught my attention as well. Did you check out any of the websites referenced in the notes?
