Whoops, I checked it and DD actually won 3 Eisner awards! Best Continuing Series, Best Single Issue (#7) and Waid won best writer for not only his DD work but also Irredeemable and Incorruptible.

So 2 were straight up for DD and the 3rd was a shared award. Still a nice accomplishment.

Incorruptible and Irredeemable were both great as well. Well-deserved in all cases, I'd say.

I am curious how long it will take Marvel to note the Eisner award on covers for issues of DAREDEVIL. When INVINCIBLE IRON MAN won an Eisner it took a couple of months.

I think that's because their covers are done so far in advance. They should just keep a stockpile laying around, they're all just random poses for the most part anyway. Covers don't reflect what's actually on the inside of a comic like they used to.
