I taped them back up instead of buying another pair... does this make me cheap, or should I just suck it up and buy another pair tomorrow?

I'm always breaking my headphones, and only get good ones when I buy iPods. Suck it up and buy cheapies if you're going to keep breaking them.

Walmart has a good pair of Panasonics for bout $8. They're the kind that loop around your ears, but the sound quality is good
