I don't understand!

I just finished reading Morrison's new issue. Loved it, don't get me wrong. But there's something that's been bothering me. In the panel where Batmanis carrying JOker, there's a dumbster that has the words "ZUR EN ARRH". The way it was pictured, makes me think it has importance. Does it?

To your own surprise, it actually does. In Batman #113, Batman is transported to a planet known as "Zur En Arrh". And on that planet, he meets ANOTHER Batman of that world. The only difference is that this Batman is shown to have superpowers. He assists the alien Batman to defeat an army of robots. After, the alien Batman sends Bruce home. With a Bat-Radia as a keepsake.

when they said 'new joker', i highly doubt they meant someone new is the joker. its gonna be a new take on the same joker. like, for instance, whent he jokers wounds are healed...he's gonna be back thinking Batman shot him in the face....how is this gonna affect him and their relationship?

No it doesn't belong there. Because the One Year Later story arc is over.

Now it's Batman and Son. And the awesome Dini one shots in Detective.

If you want to get technical, yeah it's still One Year Later....obviously.

But Face the Face was THE One Year Later story arc for Batman. And it's over.

The books got new creative teams. The story moves on. One Year Later...it's over.

Of course. The current timeline is STILL OYL. But the arc introducing that process is over. It's like in Teen Titans. The books arc focused on all the change that happend before OYL began. Now a new one is going to start, but that doesn't necessarily mean a "new" thread has to be made for it.
