Well, I am just stating why I like it. I also think that this show is pushing the limit of regular TV in a clever and fun way, as well as the dark back story of Micheal's abusive father and gambling addicted brother with Micheal hardened by war and almost unable to express affection to the people he loves.

I saw my first Jew when I was in New York a couple months ago, so we're in the same boat.

I first saw a black person when we went to Paris on a school trip in my first year of highschool. One of my female classmates saw the guy walking down the street and actually took a photo with him (he was also very attractive t. I KID YOU NOT. She has never seen a black person before either!

Well, I am just stating why I like it. I also think that this show is pushing the limit of regular TV in a clever and fun way, as well as the dark back story of Micheal's abusive father and gambling addicted brother with Micheal hardened by war and almost unable to express affection to the people he loves.

I also love how most of the episodes slowly reveal things about his personal past in terms of family. It really makes the character of Michael Weston greater, IMO.

So my roomie seems have gotten close to a guy from lab very, very quickly...and like my first out-of-college experience, it looks like I'll be the third wheel in a relationship.

BUT! I am not alone or lonely - my roommate's cat hates the boyfriend and she now prefers hanging out with me instead.

BUT! I am not alone or lonely - my roommate's cat hates the boyfriend and she now prefers hanging out with me instead.

Proof that cats can make better friends? t: I've once been in a similar situation but my friend's relationship didn't last long and I didn't have to "suffer" for more than a couple of months.

Not sure if you're still there, Mags, but yeah, English is my second language and Slovene is my first (native language). I did have Italian in highschool though but only for one year (it was either that or extra Math classes), I had English and German as the two main foreign languages.

In my country whichever foreign language you start learning in elementary school is then called your "1st foreign language" in highschool when you continue your studies. In highschool you can also learn another language which is then your "2nd foreign language", in my case German.

And since Math was my worst subject nothing could bring me to have extra classes (Math 5 times a week, no way), so Italian it was.

Oh, at my first place it was a lot weirder since a) no cat to keep me company and b) the guy I met when I checked out the place was NOT the guy in that third-wheel relationship. Roommate broke up with her bf, then hooked up with another guy two weeks later. And then they were joined at the hip the entire year I was there.

They just got married last summer, but it's still weird like, being in the middle of all of that.

At least current roomie and her bf seem like nice, reasonable, nerdy people. And she doesn't strike me as the kind of girl who'd break up with one guy and then take up with another soon after, and end up married.

It is. A lot of people are reading it now thanks to the Joker novel. As you can see by the title it really is mostly focused on Lex and not Superman.
