The 1st stage is Acceptance

Hey congrats. I hope things work out. But I'm curious, does she realize she's going to have to pick you up?

Oh and if this is a "date" and not just friends hanging out, I think movies are a terrible idea for a first date if you aren't 15.

movies are the best date ever! You don't even have to talk!

I've heard that place is real good.

Did a quick search of the Easton area:

Cherubina Ristorante (Italian)
River Grille
Sette Luna

Oh and I agree, no first date movie for all the reasons Erz said.

Here's the details of todays episode.

Me and some other guys were peeling onions for the oinon rings, and i dropped something and bent over to pick it up. then i feel someone kick me in the ass. I thought it was one of the guys and i go "okay very funny *******s". And I turn around to see it was her who kicked me. I just had a oh xcrap look on my face. where her and the other guys thought it was funny. Then she was like follow me for a minute i need you to get something out of the walk for me. Then we go and walk into the walk in. and then she gave me her answer and told me what i said alreasy. then she was like grab one of those things off the shelves to make it look like we were doing something useful.

Then later me and another guy had to get some stuff from the cooling truck outside and needed to get and had to go to the owner who had the key and was outback having a smoke and she was there with a few others.

Me and the other guy walked over and asked for the key and they said it was inside. and I was standing there and the other guy was speaking to the owner she talks to me. she was like what are you a surguon kip? (cause i had those rubber gloves on. cause i was peeling, cutting and popping onion rings. and i forgot to take them off) Then i go in a while I am cause these hands are magic. And gave a quick devlish grin back at her. And she gave the same almost look back at me.

Then one final thing. We where still cutting and popping the onion rings. They need or make like a 1000 or more a day. Anyway, she walked through the whole store. Since where in the back. Me and the other two guys were doing what Imentioned before she was walked by on. When she really didn't have to cause this was before her shift and could have just walked by the building outside with her friend but she choose to come in and walk by. Then she says Hi Boys. But looking directly at me when doing so. Cause it was seem a little weird to just say hi to me and not the others plus a little rude. That's all I'm saying hey.:yay:

Well, those are good signs, some flirty behavior and stuff, some isn't as big a deal as you're making it out to be, but overall good stuff going on.

He was actually just pointing out what a horrible person JAL's grandmother is:csad:

That's just mean, psychocheeseman:(

i had a similar situation...this girl i work with recently became available and suddenly more interested in stuff i like...so we were talking about dark knight...and i stupidly corrected her on something but she called me out on it...blew that one...but...theres still time to fix it...so don't let it stick with you and eat away at you...find another opportunity to say something funny, helpful or meaningful and try again.

she got upset that you corrected her?

Things sound good for you JAL. While on your date and making conversation, try and find out what foods she likes. Reason being, if the first date goes well then the second is where you start becoming creative. A picnic always goes down well. Stuff like Bagettes, Flat Breads, cheese, condiments, and antipasto (depending what she likes) are great. Find a nice spot, lay down on a rug and relax. If she is a smart girl she'll notice that you a) go to some effort, b) creative, and c) you can relax around her. If you need any advice on food let me know, I've been a chef for 11 years and I know how much women love food.

yeah but...not in the way you think...i guess thats a bad way of putting it...the way in which i corrected her had little to do with me being right and more about her pointing out that when i did correct her, because i know more about batman and comics etc, it came off as condescending...and i didn't realize i was acting like that...but she pointed it out...basically...its not the best way to talk to a girl...like she was one of my homies who i always discuss movies with and sometimes those things can get heated...so for that...i was kicking myself later but thought about next time not getting so into it...some things you have to let slide. she might have only pointed it out of course because she's still on the defense over her recent break up...so...the last thing she needs is another man around her that reminds her of her ex...who i'm sure i'm nothing like...but still...it did cross my mind.

That pretty much sounds like a good idea. Except its now getting to cold outside to have a picnic. Do you have any ideas on stuff what to make inside at all?

How old are you? Christ. You have 75,000 posts on a message board in a bit under 4 years, and judging from the way you type alone, your real life demanor is probably pretty poor.

Dating a co-worker is just about the worst thing I can think of. It starts off all fun and games right, but next thing you know the relationship loses that "new" feeling to it, and now everytime you're at work, she's there. It's worse when they move in with you. Holy **** the amount of days I spent sitting naked in my room playing WoW eating chicken straight from the bucker were gone.

It's no bueno guy,.

That depends on what food she likes. I usually make a cheese plater or an Antipasto and take a bottle of Shiraz or Cab Sav. I keep forgetting about the difference in season between the two counties, it's approaching summer here in Australia so the beach will be on the cards for me. For you, perhaps a park or some public area with covering. I don't know where you live and wouldn't know what sort of public places you have.

Yeah, for real :csad:

Well i live in Pennslyvania. And not in the big area. The really small ones. And trust me you don't wanna go to any of the parks around here. They're all scummy and whatnot. Plus all the wrong kinda of people hang out there.
