Yes. MY LCS organized a bus trip to the SDCC. Actyally, it was a 12 day trip that stopped at many other places.

My LCS's owner usually goes to every con so not only does he buy con-exclusive figs but he gets the comics and variants that are exclusive to those cons. Sometime is a busload of stuff.
