Superman Returns I get the feeling that kids..

I get a weird feeling that kid is going to end up evil(star warsish)just a gut feeling for later movies.

Not that SR hinted at any of that just a weird feeling.

Not every person with those kinds of gifts like Superman has ends up being good...I could see the kid being a very cocky(Antican(sp) Skywalker)type once he learns more of his skills.....Turned to evil by Lex and now wants to kill Superman his father and rule the world.

Know that is way to much like Star Wars but what kind of AMAZING battle and the emotion to see Superman vs his son with the same type of skills.

Sounds like a lame idea to me. The kid shouldn't be nearly as strong as Superman, because he's half human. I think the kid should be death-bate for Doomsday in the sequel, so this way we can spare killing off Superman.

I see where you're coming from, we didn't really get a good idea of the kids personality, so it's possible. He could be teased into have a really evil, bad mentaility.

Yeah I agree...sure most would think "This is stupid no kid of Superman would be evil"

But if it wasnt for he Kents there might not have been a Superman just a bad ass villian that could see no one stopping

While the kid served his purporse for this movie and its story, I don't see him holding any significance for the sequel.

Kill him off early into the next movie -- preferably by Doomsday.

Better yet, the kids half human/half kryptonian nature leads to an increasing genetic instability that is becoming terminal, forcing Supes to turn to Luthor for help in curing his son.
Then when no cure is viable - BANG! Phantom Zone the little bastard!!!
