I'm going to analyze the trailer, but I doubt there will be much of the Joker to speculate on. It'll be fun![]()
Yeah, I actually liked Bullseye, but I hated Kingpin and Doomdude Bullseye was the greatest!
t: .Jack's Joker wasn't that good. He was playing himself mostly.
I can sort of understand what people mean about Jack playing himself, but not really. I mean, look at him in the movie, and then his other movies. Most of the time he's manic and wild, or quiet and creepy. Not like Jack's usual drawling speech patterns, and slow motions.Jack's Joker wasn't that good. He was playing himself mostly. He laughed occasionally and was bloated even in the 80s. I always imagined the Joker to be younger and much, much more psychotic. Jack is always fun in every role and I applaud him for that. But he is no definitive Joker so I wish people would stop putting him up on a pedestal.

Excellent picture, still probably my favorite of Heath's Joker to date. I think it captures the spirit of this Joker well. But actually, I do not see much Heath Ledger in Bob Kane's Joker appearance wise. The similarities in appearance are basically just the essentials that the Bermejo quote states. What you simply have there is a picture of Heath pulling off excellent mannerisms and tone reminiscent of Kane's original Joker. The shots being so similar, especially neither smiling, is what makes them look so close. Because conversely, the same can be done with Nicholson and Kane's Joker when you have a shot with similar lighting, tone, expression.

To point out one more thing, there's one Bolland drawing of the Joker that really resembles Heath. I don't mean The Dark Knight Joker, but Heath Ledger himself. In facial features, they look very, very similar. I would look for the pic but I'm terribly tired right now, I'll grab it tomorrow.

Yeah, it's too bad that Jack has let himself go like that.

Thats a bit harsh everyone is different some of us are overweight some are skinny i could say everyone should stay clear of abuse of perscription drugs or they could wind up dead like ledger (insert picture of him being carried away) but im better then that.
