In this past episode...Vixen's necklace was ripped off her neck. But if you watch the first season of Vixen on the CW seed it is showed that it cannot be taken off once it bonds with the person.

Also, if this Vixen is the current Vixen's grandmother was living in the US...that also causes a situation since the current Vixen's family all lived in Africa in the village where the totem has been protecting the village for generations. The current Vixen came to the US as a baby to escape her sister and warlords.

I tend to figure that CW Seed stuff is only questionably canonical. That said, no reason Amaya can't end up moving back to her village after WWII is over, once the timeline gets settled down.

Amaya left her village specifically to help the JSA, and mentioned it was a tough choice. Since we know the JSA retired/stopped being used, it's very likely Amaya returns to Africa after her time with the Legends/JSA. There's really no issue there.

As for the totem, Mari's sister was initially unable to take it away from her but she eventually manages to using the spider bite. It's conceivable that either:
1. the totem hadn't permanently bonded with Amaya yet
or
2. the effect of the spider bite was somehow simulated/duplicated by the Legion of Doom in a way we weren't shown (via Thawne's knowledge/tech or some kind of mysticism on the part of Merlyn or Darhk)

It's absolutely canonical. There are continuity errors within each individual series, let alone between all the series combined. The key is that characters and events are cross-referenced between the shows.
