My grand mother is about the pass away soon, so everyone from my family went to see her, this is in Sri Lanka BTW, there's a civil war going on there for the past 20years or so. My Aunt, who's a famous civil rights lawyer in SL went to see her mom and today, the f**kin *****ebags (the rebels) came to our family home, and shot and killed her infront of my entire family. I've met very few genuine good people in my life so far, i'd put my aunt in the top 3, all she wanted to do was help people, f**k, she was even helping the captured rebels and this is what she gets. Its moments like these that i hate this s**t hole of a planet, i'm not sad, i should be, but i'm just very angry.

I'm sorry to here that.

I'm extremely sorry for your loss Sava and hope your family can be strong in this already sad time.

Sava, I am so extremely sorry to hear about what happened to your aunt and about your terminally ill grandmother. You have every reason to be angry, just don't let it consume you too much. I hope and pray that you and your family will be given the strength and courage to get through this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Things like this shouldn't happen in this world.

Damn dude, that's extremely brutal. My condolences.

Help me understand though, why exactly were they there to kill specifically your aunt if she was the one helping them?

Thanks you guys, i just hope the rest of my family get out of there safe, i dont know if my uncles are ever going to tell my grandma... this is not the kinda news she needs right now.

Wow, that's actually really crap.

I have no words to say except for it seems she did a lot of good and hopefully if her life touched and positively affected people, then she wouldn't have died in vain.

An incident like this can only make your family stronger, I believe that's the least she would have wanted.

Hang in there...and don't be afraid to grieve...

long story short. She was trying to get them to talk with the government, they dont want to, she was getting all the captured rebels to speak out about what they did, saying that fighting like this was helping no one.

That is one of the most horrid things I've ever heard.....I don't really know what to say. Your aunt sounds like an awesome woman, and you should be very proud of what she did to step up and make a stand in this world. I'll be praying for you and your family. I'm sorry for your loss and the emptiness you must feel. :csad:

You hear about this type of thing on the news all the time, but never hits you unless it's personal. It's a cliche, but just be strong, man.

damn Sava. Im sorry and angry too. F**k the world!

I'm sorry to hear that man, my prayers to you and your family.

Wow, that really is ****ed up and you have every right to be pissed off at the world. I hope the ****s get what's coming to them.

R.I.P. to your auntie and god speed to grandma.

I don't mean this to sound callous, but your Aunt knew what she was doing. She knew how dangerous it was to speak out in that environment and I'm sure she knew what the consequences might be.

You know what that makes her in my book?

A hero.

I'm really sorry to hear this. My deepest regards are with you and your family.

Sava it's people like your aunt give this world hope, I'm truly sorry that the same people who she has tried to help took her life.

I'm also very sorry about your grandma. You're right though in her state she doesnt need to know about this.

If they played Bob Ross on TV more often, things like this wouldn't happen.

Wow, dude I'm so sorry to hear that. Hang in there man!

I'm very sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
