I have to do jury duty after my trip

I think I made a thread about how I had to do jury duty ages ago. Yeah, I did. So yeah, I managed to get out of it... but only while I'm away. I was on the phone with the jury people, and I was all like "Hey, I can't go do jury duty 'cause I won't be in the country", and the woman was all like "Well that's ok, we'll just send you another summons in November".

Son of a *****. There's just no getting out of it. Knowing my luck, it will end up being a really serious, high profile case! With, like, the death penalty re-instated! So I'll probably have to decide if a man lives or dies!!!

It will probably be like 12 Angry Men! I'll probably have to argue with the other jury members!!

Whats wrong with jury duty? Your society needs you for this one little task, why do you think its such a problem?

If you do get put on a case, just yell "He's ****ing guilty!" when you get in the court room.

i did jury duty last year.... for a murder case... was there almost a month.

At first I hated it... but towards the end... it wasn't so bad... also I was watching CSI so I sorta got into forensics...so when we'd be in court listening to the autopsy reports... I knew a little about what the hell they were talking about.
