I just pulled off the SWINDLE of the week!!

I'm supposed to leave for college tomorrow, the 24th of August. For the past 2 weeks, I've been on vacation in London and Israel. And I really liked it.

Really, REALLY liked it.

So much so, that I decided, "Hey, I don't really wanna go to college yet, I'd rather go to a school in Israel for a year." Now, most of the kids in my grade are gonna be in Israel, including all of my closest buddies except for one. Plus, I never really wanted to go the college I was planning on going to, anyway. Now I have a chance to re-apply to the schools that I wasn't accepted to/missed the application deadline.

With literally TWO DAYS before college starts, I apply to the school in Israel, get accepted, and defer from the year of college.

What makes this even better is that I have always been the LAST person that friends suspected would go to Israel. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when I just show up!!

I guess it can be likened to going back to you High School reunion and finding out that you're just as well off, if not better off, than everyone who was popular.
