I just saw the Movie Kids???!!!

Wow...I dont know what to say about this film...Its very....Im spechless...what do you guys think of this film??

I've only seen bits and pieces...it was ok what I saw I guess. Unfortunately I did see another film by the same director which I wish I would have never saw as it was the suckiest movie I've seen...it's called Ken Park and it's a movie that makes no sense. lol.

I own this movie, and after I watched it the first time I didn't watch it again.

The scenes that got me were: When Telly has sex with Darcy and she's telling him (practically crying) that it hurts and he's still going; and he was talking the same BS he was saying to the girl in the beginning, A ****ING 12-YEAR-OLD GIRL!

When the girl with HIV gets raped by Casper.

The park beating, seriously did they really need damn near 20-30 drugged out punks just to beat down one guy?

What's ever more crazy is that there really are kids like that out there, particularly like Telly who think having sex with virgins is safe sex.

After all the stuff you read in the news about random things kids do to each other, and after actual stories I've heard growing up, it really wasn't all that far off. I honestly think the movie was good in that it made people see what may be actually going on out there that they aren't told about.

Did Telly even know he was HIV positive? He didn't seem like the type to get himself checked out. I don't think it was about him taking people down with him, but satisfying himself while he could. Other aspects of his life were f***ed up aside from being HIV positive.

Kids is an amazing movie in my opinion. Nobody should try to equat Ken Park to it or it to Ken Park. KP was just awful. By far the worst thing Larry Clarke has done. And probably the worst he ever will do.

One person who's opinion you should google up about on Kids is David Fincher.

BTW it's wierd how different groups of people tend to see different things at different rates at different times. I don't know too many people my age who didn't see Kids by atleast 8 or 9 years ago.
