Horror I Know What You Did Last Summer.....Again

I have fond memories of seeing the first two a lot, for whatever reason they were among that group of horror movies that just always seemed to be in syndication on TV. Like twice a month or something. But being a bit objective I don't remember them as great horror films or anything, more like a "if you liked Scream you might like this" and it's like a b-tier version of that. Also, being born in 1991 I would say these films hit me around that age when you start to "take notice" of attractive people and you combine that with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar and I probably have a clue why I watched these movies so much despite not necessarily thinking they were amazing or anything. :D

I Know What You Did *That* Summer

I completely forgot that she survived I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

I'd call the 3rd film I Knew What You Did Last Summer.

I just saw the first two films this year for the first time, and didn't find them very interesting as slasher flicks. So I'm not expecting much, but I'd watch it since I just saw the last two.

Technically it's the fourth one by the way. There's a 2006 direct to video film.

These movies were nothing more than crappy attempts to capture the “Scream” audience. Just bad writing, acting and direction all around. The only way this legacy sequel will be worthwhile is if they make it a complete joke. Not too late to change the title! Some ideas…

I Don’t Care What You Did Last Summer

I Know What You Did Last Century

I Know What You’ll Do Next Summer (prequel!)

I Know What You Did Last Last Last Last Last Last Last Last Last Last Summer

So it looks like they're just calling it "I Know What You Did Last Summer" again? I really hate this trend. Halloween (2018) should have been called Halloween Returns or something like that and Scream (2022) should have been Scream 5. Giving sequels the same title as the original is dumb, stupid, and of course idiotic.

If this is going to recycle any title, at least go with I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer because while it's the same title as the DTV sequel, nobody saw it so who would even care? :o

I wanna know who’s going to sing the cover of the cover of Hush for this?
