The first time I saw the Hulk I wasn't that pleased with it I expected something different, and I had to squint to try and see things 'cause it was so dark.

But, after looking at it in a different way, I love it.

It has somethings that could've been better but, with all the comic book movies that have had characters dumbed down so much, it really is nice to see the Hulk shown as big as he is in the comics, and that the madder he gets the bigger he gets.

It showed his leaping ability and his healing factor.

And even though they got a bit carried away with the Father story, at least they put him in and the whole abuse thing just not quite like in the comic book.

It was pretty faithful for certain aspects, I really don't have a problem with it.

He should've said more. In the next one he needs to say Hulk Smash! He has to, nothing wrong with that. And if someone doesn't like it, go see something else, this is the Hulk.

Well, i loved the movie from the first moment i saw it, and i do mean loved, after watching X2 earlier that summer, i thought nothing would ever compare to it again, but then i saw Hulk, i just loved it, i still thought X2 was the better movie up until recently, but i find myself still watching Hulk often and X2 not so much, so what does that tell you. I remember i watched the movie on Holiday in Australia, and when i came back and came online in University, i couldnt believe the hate towards the movie, and i still dont.

One thing i can guarantee though, if all of the people who hated the movie the first time they watched it, watched it again now, 50% of them would go from hating to liking the movie.

I loved the movie too. I know it wasn't exactly like the comics, but I really enjoyed it. It's one of my most favorite movies.

:hulk:

I cant see this so called re-make that they are doing being better than this version.

Oh, according to Avi, Banner will be troubled no more of being Hulk and it will be lighter.

Sounds ****ing great, ain't it?

The first was great. Anything they release that's not under Ang's direction will 1) not fit and 2) suck.

I'm a 100% with you. I advise the people who didn't like it and want a re-do, to watch it one more time. (If you only seen it once, and thought that it sucked, watch it again. The first time I saw X-men: The last Stand, I didn't like it, but the second & third time, I loved it)

Amen there's no macy gray. I enjoyed this movie and was blown away by the visuals my first time through. For a first hulk movie ever, I thought it was damn good and can only get better if it had a sequel instead of this restart bs i'm hearing.

THe Hulk was good, but could have been better...WAY better. The Hulk had the chance to be Marvel's first really adult movie in terms of story but they missed it. Hulk 2 done the right way could repair the franchise.

if what Avi said is true and they are going to restart the franchise in 08, i hope they get the story right this time, as in not pissing off the hardcore fans, make a movie they'll like and Hulk will make its money back.

Ready are you now to become a Jedi. :)

Get It Right is right Sava. It has to be a good story, not just a Hulk Smash action flick that the 12 and 13 year olds will like. They have to present the Hulk as he is and get it across without all the gobbly-gook. If it is an Origin film it should not take more than 20 minutes to set it up and get going. It is one of the most powerful and memorable origins in comic history but it's also one of the most straight foward and simple one at the same time. Forget about explaining why. That's the mystery of The Incredible Hulk

i think it was you who said that they should start the movie (if it is an origin movie) like they started the comic book, right at the test site, give it a good 15mins to show that Bruce has been working on this nearly all his life, that Ross hates Bruce, Bruce has a crush on Betty, Talbot also has a crush on Betty and so on. then Bruce gets caught in the explosion and survives. He wants to why he survived and we find out verytghing about his past with Bruce.

I don't think the nuclear explosion angle will go over well.

I like the Movie When They fight :P Everything else is kinda boring...

it could, just explain the G-bomb as some sort of super bomb that makes the A-bomb look like a little b**ch.

Yeah, but were would they test it. Testing weapons in deserts just doesnt happen today, otherwise there would be uproar around the world.

not the desert, some tiny island somewhere in the middle of no where

New Mexico where it should have been in the first place. The test could take place in the mid 80's befoire the moratorium on testing was in place. The opening would be very quick 10 -15 minutes max and then cut right into the present. It could even pick up in the jungle when the first one left off. The whole thnk would be Bruce having a flash back or dreaming. That way everyone is happy. :) or maybe not :O

Seriously Hulk is on my list of bet marvel movies which is btw..(complee list)
SM 1 and 2
X-men 1 and 2
Blade
The Hulk
....I really dont get why people hated it, and I for one loved the comic book panel film style...If people watched Sin city I don't know why they cant tolerate this...oh well
