Hey gang,
A few years ago I started kicking around some ideas for a new superhero team in my head. A few months ago I actually decided to make it a reality.
So far I have three heroes,
SuGaRrUsH
DJ Panzer
Braintrust
What I'm asking for is some help developing the characters, some costume work, power tweaking, that kind of thing. Please please please, post opinions, give advice, I want to change these guys, make them unique and fun! This is for my own enjoyment, I'm not trying to get these guys published, I just like to doodle in class, write stories instead of notes, that kind of thing. PLEASE give me some input
Character overview:
SuGaRrUsH --> The lead character of this little comedy. He talks fast and he talks alot. Think Deadpool or Spider-man.
Age/Race: 21 White male, 6' tall about 185lbs or so
Colours: Black and Electric blue, orange goggle lenses
Powers: Originally he was a speedster like the Flash, but more and more he seems to feel like a Speedball-esque character.
Origin: The guy is hyper. I mean really really hyper. So hyper, the psychiatrist had to invent a new designation for him. He absorbs kinetic energy and redirects it allowing for an effect somewhat similar to throwing a bouncy ball in a closed room. He NEVER stops moving. His powers also allow him to take hits MUCH harder than he should be able to. But only from kinetics (fists, feet, bullets, barstools, etc...) No energy weapon resistance here. He's a college student that is on his schools track team (high jump, triple jump), plays basketball on the weekends, tons of x-box, loves food. Talks, constantly. You know this guy, just a lot of fun to be around, but not too serious.
DJ Panzer --> The straight man to Sugar's hyperactivity. Big black and ubercool. The guy is like Luke Cage mixed with Cyborg.
Age/race: 25 African American Male
Costume: standard club attire, FUBU, Rocca wear, SeanJean, you know the stuff
Powers: He's a cyborg, he's bullet proof, he can benchpress a semi, but thats about the upperlimits to his strength. Stronger than spider-man, probably about wondermans strength levels i guess? He's also got modified vision and hearing due to his cybernetic upgrades.
Origin: He got caught in a club shootout where he was DJ'ing. Panzer got shot in the chest, head, arms, legs, everywhere more than 30 times. His size and tenacity are the only reason he was able to hold on for as long as he did. An experimental procedure of some type or another was performed on him and built him a new body. He's about 6'7" 300 pounds or so.
Braintrust--> SUPERGENIUS, this girl is SMART, IQ of 250 smart. Graduated from highschool at 12 smart, she's 20 and working on her third doctorate smart. Invents things, builds things, strategizes. A female, stylish, slightly ditzy version of Reed Richards. She's soooo intelligent, she has difficulty interacting with the regular folk. Her brain moves so fast that Sugar is the only one who can keep up with her at times...
Age/Race: 20 White Female, 5'8" Brown hair, southern-belle accent
Powers: Super genius, moderate hand to hand skills?
Costume: I've got nothing
Origin: Supergenius?...
As you can see gang, these guys need some serious work. Panzer, I love, but feels like Luke Cage and cyborg like I said, and I want to set him apart. Braintrust has no costume. Sugarrush is better off than those two, but not by much.
Any ideas whatsoever would be fantastic!
