I saw Tenacious D, "Pick of Destiny", Thumbs Up

To put it simply, if you don't like there music, you won't like the music. Since the movie is more or less a musical since there playing a song every like five minutes. The beginning might possibly be the funniest part of the movie. The movie's got a decent story and the cameos are all really funny, especially Tim Robbins. Problems arise with the fact that every time a new development comes on, there's a title sequence that gets really annoying, the plot feels like it lacks cohesian, it travels from plot point to plot point as so it loses momentum, and will become slow at various parts. Also colin hanks seems to have been cut out completely except for like a part where he throws a cup at Kyle Gas's head. All in all though because I thought the music was cool and the story was funny, I'd give it a 8.

I've seen the trailer a few times in the theater...looks to dumb and/or out there for me. I probably watch it one day...most likely when I have nothing better to do.

Def. but only for language really... Like they use the word cock every other sentence, and that's really the only swear word. BUt outside of that, there's no nudity, or graphic ****, it could of been PG-13 if they had change some of the words in the song but to be honest that's part of the charm.
