Good action and a great villain. And the costume is spot-on. Better fight scenes than a lot of superhero films. It's cheap-looking for a superhero film, but it's more akin to an 80's James Bond movie.

And a President who actually gets in the action himself and kicks some ass-! I don't recall Bush fighting Al-Queda personally.

This probably belongs in the movie forum, doesnt it?

At any rate; this movie generally sucks, but yes, it DID have a few good moments; Cap taking out the machine gun tower while invading the Skull's stronghold with a well placed shield-sling was pretty cool....also liked the part in present daywhen Cap gets in the GERMAN automobile with the JAPANESE stereo system, and is visibly un-nerved...that was funny. :woot:

All in all; i'm hopeful for a better version sometime in the near future.

Is there any movie you don't like, Kevin? :o

Also,

Two words: Bill mother****ing Pullman.

this movie is fun. I love that he does cartwheel flips and uses his shield so much.

Plus, Harrison Ford in Air Force One smacks Gary Oldman up, and he's the President. Plus, I haven't seen the movie, but I'm sure I'd like it. I tend to like crap.

Odd to see him make a mistake like that, added to that..what`s with his avatar?:ninja:

Ive seen the 1970`s Captain America film only once..and it was..B List.
...but Roegele's talking about the '90s film.

i disagree about the "cool villian" part, still i would rent it over and over again growing up.

the mask had fake rubber ears on the outside.
it also made him look crosseyed because the eye holes were not cut well. but those are minor things that people latch on to when looking for something to dislike

No, they're GLARING flaws that take away from anything that might have been redeemable.

Oh, and the Red Skull being Italian? No thanks.

I saw this movie a few times on TV, it sucked so bad.
