I went to my local swapmeet today and my daughter was looking at some Barbies while I was waiting a Batman figure caught my eye. It looked like Batman: Dead End version. So I bought it for $10.00 without really looking at it thinking it was a better than usual Mexican knock-off you usually see at the swap meet.

Well upon further examination it says "Batman Dead End" on the front. On the back it talks about the film and how Sandy Collera is a Mego fan and made this figure. It is even autographed by him on the back and is numbered 56/100.

I looked on ebay and didn't find anything. Anyone know anything about these or have seen them before?

It says "COLLECT THEM ALL" at the bottom left, so I assume they made the other figures.

That's a nice and rather rare find!

Excellent find! Normally I'm an open the package and display the figure kinda guy, but in this case if I found this figure, I would definitely make an exception and keep it MOC.

It is a little beat up but I'm not opening it.

I wonder how it ended up at the swap meet. Pretty weird....

Now that is awesome! I would love to have one of those.

That's a great find, congrats!

Hey, I'll give ya $15.00 for it & you can make a profit...whattya think?
( Just kiddin' ) But yeah, to find it at a flea market is just totally weird.
Oh well, some days you just get lucky & YOU had a great day...that's nice to hear, especially these days!

Make it $15.01 and you have a deal! :joker:

It is really odd. The people that had it are regulars there but they don't really deal in collectibles. They just sell various toys. How they ended up with it is just bizzare. I think they thought they were ripping me off too because there was actually a handwritten price tag on it for $1.95 but they quoted $10.00. Little do they know....
