I think there should be a forum for books

You know where the misc. comics section is...there should be a subforum for general books. If theres a celebrity forum I think it would be good to have one for books. Just a suggestion.

I think the celebrity forum only came to be because some were sick of seeing so many 'celebrity vs' threads.
I recall a request for a music forum and that was shot down.

Yeah spam the community forum with threads about books, and you will get a forum

^A lot often than you think.
You see the big thread about the Harry Potter book?
Then every so often someone makes one about what book you're reading or SHH's book club or......it goes on and on....
The're not that active but there is one about what's the last book you read, I never can find it when I need it.

well thats harry potter- for some reason i never think of posting about book awards or Ian mcewan's latest novel- and i'm doing a degree in english in september! I'd be all for a book forum if it was books and politics so it would be more active

A lot of times Id like to make a thread about a book I read or how good a certain author is but I dont cause I know it'll get lost in all the talking and no one would really care.

I personally dont see the point to a celebrities thread but it doesnt bother me either.

When I first came here, I think my first thread in community was the death of a sci-fi writer. No one cared.

I think people care about books...it's just cluttered with more interesting topics.
What really sucked is that I had a chance to see her at a book signing but I did something else instead.
