I thought of a great idea for a Marvel movie....

I honeslty think it would bore most to sleep.

 

I hate to bring negativity to a thread, but I don't think it's that great an idea. He's just not the type of character that Daredevil theater-goers are begging to see more of.

 

Essentially you are asking for a poorman's Godfather.

 

Daredevil isn't the type of character that Daredevil theater goers are begging to see more of...

 

It's not that the idea doesn't work, it's just that it's been done a hundred times over by movies that are guaranteed to be a hundred times better than this one would. No one outside of a couple die-hards are gonna be interested in seeing it just because it's about the Kingpin.

 

And for the kingpin you would have to be really DIEHARD.

It would be interesting to see a film from the villian's POV.

Perhaps, Fisk could face off against a series of minor heroes (those who couldn't support a franchise of their own) during his rise to power.

Eh, it would likely still flop.

 

I think a really good story...maybe not a movie necessarily would be how the Kingpin met his beloved wife Vanessa. Think about it, here's this ugly/mofo/badass crime lord with unlimited power and wealth...probably not even his own momma loved him...but he meets this beautiful, charming woman who genuinely has feelings for him. Good dramatic potential!

 

Take away the crimelord part & you've got Mr. Freeze's story.
