Yeah, it was the best issues for JLD.

The JLD tie-ins felt a little awkward, especially since Constantine and Deadman weren't really that effective. But I, Vampire itself has been great.

I really didn't care for Milligan's run on Justice League Dark so I actually really liked the I, Vampire tie-ins. And then when Lemire came on board, the quality continued to go up IMO.

I've read the first eight issues or so. The crossover started to lose me. But up to that point, I thought the series was excellent. One of the weaknesses of the book, IMO, is that it's hobbled by being a part of the DC universe. I wish it was a Vertigo title (but of course, the also excellent American Vampire series has that corner covered). Since I'm paring down my comic buying I'll probably drop the series-or just wait to pick it up in trades though.

Yeah, it's fun to see Fialkov reinterpret a lot of stuff from vampire mythology for the series.
