When you said Scud i thought of the guy from Blade II.

Nope, Scud the disposable assassin...an indie comic in the 1990s that sparked a great (and probably the only great) video game for the Sega Saturn.

It [the game and first few comics] had a great plot, a female monster named Jeff (who has mousetraps for hands and an electrical plug for a head) breaks loose in a lab. SCUD, a disposable vending machine assassin is sent to kill her. Once he engages the beast and defeats her he notices that a warning label on him warns "he will self destruct upon mission completion". So instead he puts the monster up in a hospital and is forced into becoming a freelance mercenary to pay her medical bills.

It's funny as hell too.

I freakin' love Scud. I read the first arc a few years ago, a friend let me borrow them. Alas, I've not found any Scud comics in my LCS, and haven't read any since my first read through.

I liked the voice credits they put on the inside cover! John Malcovich as Scud!

Scud as a cartoon on Adult Swim would be perfect.

I had no idea that they made a game.

There was alot of talk years ago much like Madman but nothing ever came to fruition. On a side note, Scud creator Rob Schrabb worked on the animated film Monster House. (which was great)

i completely forgot about SCUD...i own that video game and loved it to death...the character was great. I never got to read a comic though, always wanted to. anyone know how many SCUD comics were published?
