We all know that Reeves loves writing and creating his movies with an almost Tarantinian way to take inspirations from movies he loves.

He did it with the third Apes, for example, looking to Apocalypse Now.
He did it a lot with The Batman: Chinatown, Zodiac, Se7en, The French Connection, Taxi Driver.
And even with Penguin series, he spoke about Scarface and The Long Good Friday.

What movies could he choose as references for the sequel?

Here's a bunch of possibilities in my opinion:

What about your picks?

I wouldn’t mind a sequence where Bruce, out of his Batman guise, finds himself in a sticky situation that he can’t just fight his way out of like he normally would.

I’ll be eager to hear if Reeves has a particular comic in mind to take inspiration from, like he did with Darwyn Cooke’s Ego in the first film.
