I was shot in the face with OC spray

This afternoon, as part of a training requirement for my job, I willingly subjected myself to being blasted in the face with a stream of oleoresin capsicum spray. It's a non-lethal riot control agent, better known as "OC spray" or pepper spray. It was a very unpleasant experience.

I was outside and my friend sprayed it through the screen window into my face. He thought it was funny. I wasn't laughing.

Yea when I went through the training, somebody's face swelled up like a rasberry.

Been there. That OC spray ain't no joke. It feels like you've been smacked in the face with a white hot frying pan.

So which was worse? Tear gas or pepper spray?

Tear gas, stopped affecting you when your exposure to it ended. Pepper spray burns for about 7-8 hours.

I got sprayed with pepper spray once. I was in high school and just walked outside the school after a Cross Country practice, passed by two people and one of them sprayed something in my face. I thought it was just water or something, didn't think anything of it, until very quickly it started burning. Sucked so bad, went back into the school drenching an extra shirt I had with water and walked home with the shirt over my face, $#!t burned for hours! Still have no idea what the people even looked like since it was dark by the time I left practice and I wasn't really paying attention to them, @$$holes!

You should've swung man. Whether it burns or not, you take those ****ers out! I got sprayed by a cop when I was trying to help break up a fight. Lucky for him the others cops flipped out and pulled that rookie ***** away and reprimanded him because my fist already starting to fly. Otherwise I would've spent a night in jail for smacking a *****. My one cop friend got that guy demoted to working prison patrol.
