New Mutants I wonder if they'll acknowledge these 5 things about Magik

1- She's Colossus sister.

2- She's the ruler of the Limbo

3- Her mutant power is stepping disc that allow her to teleport to wherever she wants, even other planets or dimensions and even through time.

4- She is the Sorcery Supreme of limbo and her magic powers shouldn't be mistaken by mutant powers.

5- She has a demonic form (Darkchylde) that she has to keep locked.

3. Is important but doesn't need to explore going into dimensions or time.

The rest save for later in the trilogy.

I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't acknowledge her being colossus sister.

The set up they created for these characters may clash with how she ties to him.

I'm not necessarily expecting an acknowledgement of Colossus unless it's plot relevant, but Boone is at least a bigger fan of the comics than Singer, so he might. Has the era of this story been confirmed yet?

There was one thing they haven't really done with superheroes that surprises me a bit. We've seen HUGE Hulk and Thor, beastly Wolverine, etc. but they never rendered any superheroines with their super-sizes, if you know what I mean. Not that they should do that to Magik. Just a random thought that should not have been posted.

Well, maybe not here. Maybe She-Hulk has the best argument for it on the Marvel side of things? After the X-Tinction Agenda, Wolfsbane maybe, but I hated her look in X-Factor and certainly don't want to start with that.

the Limbo/Belasco connection seems too convoluted to try and shoehorn into this film. My guess is it will be bypassed.

Her teleportation discs seem to be enough-- but I wonder considering the setting of this film-- will she even have access to that power? It would be a simple thing to teleport everyone away from this medical facility/prison that they're at, and away from the demon bear whenever it shows up.

I wonder if they'll give her some non-comics-canon powers. we'll see.

I'd love to see them mash-up this timeline mess of films into one film someday. Bring in Ellen Page (Shadowcat), Anya (Magik in full armor costume), Brolin (Cable), Hoult (Beast), Fassbender (Magneto), Marsden (Cyke), (Colossus), (Emma Frost), and others into some crazy time-travel movie.

The Demon Bear also has the ability to transport people into different dimensions - so I feel like they're gonna be on equal footing. Whether this movie will take them into the Badlands remains to be seen, but I feel like there's going to be a fair bit of warping into various places in this film.

Fassbender is too young to play 60yo Magneto in 1991, then what about 85yo Magneto in present. Hope he has gray hair in Dark Phoenix.
