Alred Pennyworth is such an important character in The Batman mythos and we've got "Iconic" threads for almost every other major character to be featured (or rumored to be featured in AMH/The Riddler/Edward Nygma's case) in TDK so I figured it was about time someone started a thread for Ol' Al.

These threads are getting out of hand.

Alfred: There's too many of them!

I've mentioned this before, but I think it would be great if DC created an entirely new title for Alfred, entitled: Alfred. It would show how his entire family have been butlers, and how he was drafted into the military and the secret service, then went into butler training (setting table napkins and such). It would also show the contrast of Butler cleaning rifles and then polishing silver.

Don't look at me like that!

i was wondering when someone was going to open an iconic alfred thread.

It took me awhile to find it.

Edit: Damn! I just saw it was already posted. In any case it's the best one IMO

Yeah I guess I beat you to it... :cwink:

That one is really good, as is the one from that same scene in Mask of The Phantasm where you see the shocked look on Alfred's face after he sees Bruce as The Batman for the first time. I guess Jett sums it up pretty well in his review on BOF of "Batman: Mask of The Phantasm: (http://www.batman-on-film.com/review_jett_phantasm.html)

Jett said:
BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM has one of the best scenes in any Bat-film -- live-action or animated. We are shown the young Bruce Wayne suiting up as The Batman for the first time. You see him as a shadow, attiring himself in his crime fighting garb. But that’s not the part that makes the scene great -- it is Alfred’s reaction upon seeing Bruce for the first time as The Batman: a combination of shock and fear.

I've been looking for that shot of his face for like that last 20 minutes, LOL.

If anyone finds the picture of Alfred's shocked expression that I was talking about above ^ .....

PLEASE post it. I cant find it anywhere.

ALFRED: Good Lord, sir! Where are your PANTS?!?!

Heh, sorry... wrong thread. ;)

This thread is unnecessary, because to be quite honest, none of these pictures are "iconic" and stand out as amazing or memorable.
