Which directors do you feel are appropriate for an adaptation of a Marvel comic book?

Example(s):

Quentin Tarantino - Deadpool or Heroes for Hire
Martin Scorcese - Punisher
Steven Spielberg - Fantastic Four or X-Men

Tom Hanks - the Fantastic Four, or almost any Marvel project.

Roman Coppola or G. del Toro - Dr. Strange.

Shane Black for Deadpool. No one's better at breaking the fourth wall and witty banner.

Scorsese for Daredevil. A perfect mixture of crime, Catholicism and New York City.

Zemeckis for Spider-Man or Fantastic Four.

Duncan Jones- Fantastic Four
She-Hulk- Michael Patrick King
Captain America- James Mangold or Paul Greengrass
X-men- Gus van Sant (call me crazy but I don't care, I'ld love to see it)

Doug Liman (Bourne Identity, Mr & Mrs. Smith) for Daredevil , Captain America or Avengers.

Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men) for anything.

Peter Jackson for Thor.

Spike Jonze for Dr. Strange.

James Cameron for X-men.

James Cameron should do his epic sci fi thing and mo-cap madness with Silver surfer, thanos and the like....

James Cameron doing a team battle versus some sentinels would be epic as well.

Guillermo del Toro:
- Dr. Strange
- Ghost Rider
- Cloak & Dagger
- Moon Knight

Peter Jackson:
- Thor

James Cameron:
- Namor

Ridley Scott:
- Werewolf by Night

Luc Besson:
- Longshot

Edgar Wright:
- Damage Control

Timur Bekmambetov:
- Iron Fist
- Daredevil

George Lucas:
- Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider Ham (animated - direct to video)

Robert Rodriguez - Deadpool, Punisher and Wolverine, all R-Rated

Guillermo Del Toro - Dr. Strange

Alex Proyas for the Silver Surfer
Kathryn Bigelow for Shield

Ang Lee for the Iron Fist movie.

I want an American to direct the Hulk. Don't care for which one, let's see how this Whedon guy does.

We can pretend that they're just the 51st state already.
