IE problems can't delete history

When I go to delete my files and delete cookies and files and all some links are still showing up for some reason. For example I start typing the link to the forum and it shows up.

Tools >> Internet Options

click on the Content tab

click on Auto Complete

click on Clear Forms

You can also uncheck Web Addresses so it doesn't ever do that again.

^^ The exception is that there are programs like BearShare that add 3rd party junk on your computer that won't allow you to do this. If you still can't delete your history with Lackey's method either uninstall the offending 3rd party program or grab a history removal program from a site like tucows.

a couple of years ago, a girl at work asked me how to get rid of those auto complete links from showing up and when I went to her computer to help her, she has a bunch of porn sites in her history

I just pretended like I didn't see it and showed her how to delete all of it and went back to minding my own business. The very next day, she was called into the boss's office and fired.
