Me too. I recall reading on the Hype's front page some years back about Hugh Jackman being seen hanging out of Eric Bans in a bar and thinking it would be so great to see them both together in a film.

Similar with Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman. I had wanted to see Spider-man and Wolverine in a movie together, though it was only more recently I had read someone had thought about giving Hugh a cameo in Spider-man (I think). I would lover to see the New Avengers line up or a movie where it's just those two.

Doom. Fortunately the previous film versions have been such lousy adaptations that a proper Doom would feel fresh.

Fantastic Four first as it’s the easiest property to incorporate in to the MCU in my opinion as well as all the great cosmic aspects of that title. The XVerse could still be somewhat separated though if they wish

I'd hope the Fantastic 4 would be one of the three 2020 movies but that might be too soon

2020 seems too early unless Marvel has been planning ahead

F4 villains and solo F4 cameos in other films.

Fantastic Four would be first because it fits best with their current "let's go more Cosmic" plans for phase 4, which means it is the easiest to integrate. The other reason is since the Fantastic Four was very unsuccessful in the Box Office, especially with their most recent outing, I think more people are excited about the prospect of a reboot where the characters are understood and the movie will be made by people that care about the property. Don't get me wrong people are generally excited about the idea of X-men returning to Marvel as well, but Fox did a better job with that property overall, so there is more of a division of fans on this subject. For that reason it would be better for Marvel to give the X-men properties some time after their acquisition before using them in the MCU. This will give some adjustment period for the characters and fans and provide a time for people to build back up hype for their relaunch in the MCU.

At least that is how I see it.

Surfer

The Fantastic Four, obviously; easier to introduce and in desperate need of redemption. The X-Men on the other hand need to be introduced gradually, you can't just throw the entire mutant race into the MCU and pretend it's always been there.

That is my take. A bunch of mutants is incompatible with the alien invasion and the emergence of Inhumans being a thing. Since I think the X-Men characters should be kept in reserve, as children for now, waiting for the retirements of RDJ, and the Chris's that pretty much leaves us with a family of astronauts leading the next wave of heroes.

That's why I say that the X-Men shouldn't be scrapped and the current cast should continue on in their own universe. End Phase 4 with an event film merging universes.
